Geez...
"My dear, nobody could be as stupid as he seems"
"Why hello there; I have some really good Jelly Babies on offer, 100% pure, haven't been cut with anything nasty".
Continuing the whole "there's something in the Jelly Babies" gubbins.
LSD's a helluva drug these days.

"D-don't eat the jelly babies. He p-p-puts something on it, to make you forget. I don't even remember how I got here."
As long as some point in the 50th The Doctor offers a Jelly Baby, I'll be content.

Right. That's another forum I've gone to where Americans and Brits are arguing about John Hurt. Brits saying he's an acting legend and Yanks moaning he's a nobody unsuccessfully used to distract us from the lack of Doctors.
This "I don't know who he is so he's obviously not famous" shit now applies to John Hurt? Fuck everything.
I actually don't know what movies John Hurt's been in but I at least acknowledge he's pretty damn big, at least in the UK. I know him as Ollivander, though, but that's about it.

Loads and loads of movies and TV shows apparently. Even the original Alien.
I know him as well as you do.

His favorite role of mine was when he played as The Chancellor in V for Vendetta. [sp]Shame that he dies in the end though.[/sp]

He's in the 1984 film. Which came out in 1984.
He looks old in that film, so christ, he's been kicking a while.
Sylvester McCoy was asked if he's in the Anniversary special, he said not the episode but "something else" to air nearer the time.
Months ago a user on GB said that no classics will appear in the special, not even as CGI. But there will be a special "Best of Doctor Who" program on TV before the special which will include ALL 11 Doctors in specially filmed new sequences written by Mark Gatiss. One of said sequences is to appear online next month celebrating the 8th Doctor. A sequence where 8 regenerates into 9.
So yeah #TheForth
because it's the fourth today...
If my calculations are correct, if they started with the Fourth- oldest living Doctor- we might have a the Fifth video today.
According to the book "Now On The Big Screen: The Unofficial And Unauthorised Guide To Doctor Who At The Cinema", which is about all the tries of getting Doctor Who to the big screen, Michael Jackson was to play The doctor in a Paramount made movie in 1988 because of his acting in Moonwalker. If Michael wasn't available Bill Cosby was the second choice...
What do you think? Wouldn't he have made a great doctor?!
Michael Jackson was a dreadful actor.
But Spielberg was apparently linked to the same movie. He decided not to do it as it didn't feel like Doctor Who and felt more like Indiana Jones. So they put him incharge of an American tv series instead but BBC refused to sell them the rights. They were trying to kill Doctor Who and selling it to america would make it powerful and the BBC look bad.
Glad it all went like it did.
Duuuuude, he was in Alien.
OH.
Well yeah, now that you mention it. And same with V. I just don't realize he played those roles until you mention them. :v:
Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy.
#TheFourth may be a complete Fourth Doctor box set as it was first posted by the Classic DW twitter.
I wanted to start from 3 but 4 is just as good.

Fuck off it better not be this.
So I just finally finished season 7 and while I liked some of the episodes it's probably my least favorite season so far
What was up with "Angels in Manhattan"? Angels main weakness is that they can't look at each other and I swear that there were a few scenes where they just stare at each other and then just carry on with their usual business. And with cybermen, why did Moffat give them (I mean as an entity, not individuals) some personality . That kind of ruins the point, doesn't it?
Because Moffat didn't write the cybermen episode.
Angels in Manhattan was very flawed though.
That episode made the Cybermen seem very Borgish.

I'd pay a lot of money to see that movie.
I liked that the Cybermen had a small amount of personality.
Who knows how prominent this redesign will be :v: You never know with the Moffat-era.
Who knows how prominent this redesign will be :v: You never know with the Moffat-era.
Yeah, new daleks had all of 3 Episodes. Didn't even show up in series 6.

So is Hurt no longer in between McGann and Eccleston, or did you mean to say Eight regenerates into Hurt's Doctor?
