People saying 50th footage will be at the proms.
When asked if he thinks they'll be 50th footage at Comic-con, Trackboy says:
I'd be more so expecting it at The Proms. Probably have a certain blonde in for a "moment"
Crazy good interview with Moffat.
He hints at other returning actors in the Special. He also flat-out admits the special is longer than an hour.

This for some reason has taken the place of favourite music from Doctor Who for me.
It's just so... right.
Are you hoping the new Doctor will appear in this year’s Christmas special?
Yes. That’s not the hope — that’s the plan. It’ll be the traditional regeneration. You know, the eleventh will fall and the twelfth shall rise. And you’ll see that in the closing moments of the show. I mean, you sometimes sit and think, “Are there better ways of doing it? Is there a different way of doing it?” But quite honestly what could be better than that? It’s just too exciting. [Laughs]
Good. At least Matt's getting a proper sendoff.

Things I found noteworthy:

"And you'll see that in the closing moments of the show. I think that confirms Matt won't be going out like Colin or Sylvester, thank goodness.
Is Matt going to have to wear a wig when he films the Christmas special? He seems to have had a very severe haircut for his role in Ryan Gosling’s How to Catch a Monster.
We’re sprinkling fertilizer on his head as we speak. I don’t know. If you care to take a look at “The Angels Take Manhattan” there are a couple of scenes that Karen Gillan came back to do in the graveyard after she’d had her radical haircut and she is wearing what seems like a strategically draped otter on her head. [Laughs]
Karen was wearing a wig for some scenes?! Wow, could anyone here notice it?
If not, I have high hopes for Matt's haircut come December.
Yeah I noticed. It was more obvious in the Pond Life mini-series though.

An Adventure in Time and Space, the docudrama about the filming of the first Doctor Who stories that we've known about for quite some time.

Damn he looks alot more like Hartnell in costume.
An amazing likeness but he looks quite a bit older than 50 some

Wow, he does look a lot like Hartnell.
Wouldn't mind seeing him play the First Doctor. Then again, likeness =/= acting ability.

Doesn't he play Walder Frey in Game of Thrones?
Hell, he even played Solomon in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship

stop ruining my dreams
He always plays an old cunt.
Hopefully Hartnell was a bit nicer. Though I never imagined him organising a Red Wedding.

A wider shot. Wish David Bradley was 12.

They could use him as 13 to turn the whole series into a circle-narrative where 13 ends with him stealing another tardis and goes on adventures with his Granddaughter (was that right).
I heard fake mindfucks are all the rage after Chris Nolan raped the concept.

I'm so excited for Adventure in Time and Space. I can tell I'm gonna cry when Hartnell starts to lose it a bit towards the end. But to see the genesis of a show I love so much lovingly retold by brilliant actors and writer. Ohhh my goodness.
I bet it's gonna be an emotional rollacoaster where I come out appreciating The First Doctor more.

God guys I just thought.
What if this happens in the 50th (based on some on-set reports & speculation): [sp]we know at one point we go to a museum, and there's a paintings reference, what if while The Doctor is in the museum he sees a painting which makes him smile but we don't get to see it. Then at the end of the episode The Doctor says "well I got a birthday party to get to" and as The TARDIS demilitarises and we slowly go back to the museum. The whole time we get a nice monologue from The Doctor about how great being The Doctor is and all the cool stuff he's done. When we suddenly realise the museum is filled with items from his past (scarf, flute, sonic screwdriver, etc).
Then we get to the painting The Doctor saw towards the start of the episodes and it's revealed to be a painting of all 12 Doctors together smiling and laughing having a birthday party! Surrounded by all their friends over the years. And the camera lingers on that for a while and it starts to fade out and then it suddenly fades back in- WHO THE FUCK IS THAT? The camera slowly zooms in on a man standing next to 11/12... WHO THE FUCK IS THAT? OH MY GOD IT'S DOCTOR THIRTEEN AS PLAYED BY CALLUM ARNOTT/DOMHNALL GLEESON. CUE CREDITS TUNE SIZZLE.

Believing in the Moffat nowadays is like believing in Santa Claus. Good luck to you when you don't get any presents on Christmas morning.

I just heard that the Sir Kenneth Branagh and Alex Kingston Macbeth will be shown in cinemas as a live broadcast. River as Lady M should be something special

Just realised, maybe because the doctor has been [SP]the john hurt doctor[/SP], when he becomes 9, he's already seen his 10th and 11th appearances, maybe that's why he goes "I don't want to go" as 10 because he's thinking "shit, i've got to wear this upcoming face"
