Actually this is fine by me if [sp]past doctors appear. Imagine the cliffhanger. Clara has been messing in the past and Ten follows her back to the present. Ten and Eleven have the "What?" moment and then suddenly John Hurt appears. "I am The Doctor" he declares. Then both at the same time Smith and Tennant say "...What". Credits music kicks in.[/sp]
[sp] What if the GI is using this to get a body? It's not the 12th... It's the GI in a doctor body.[/sp]
Streaming "Genesis of the Daleks" right now to test my streaming capabilities: http://www.livestream.com/coolcorky?t=685238
Actually, I'm not going to be using my PC for a while so I'll queue some more serials to play once this one has finished.
How about The Keys of Marinus, The Visitation, Attack of the Cybermen and Battlefield?

Worth noting one thing I really loved about Saturdays episode was the near complete lack of music.
But other than that the blurry direction was weird.
4.9m for last night. Still the third most watched show behind BGT and The Voice.
Sad that it's live audience is dipping week-on-week during the 50th year... VOD & iPlayer figures at the ready.

I find that it is much easier to catch it on iPlayer. It means that I can watch it when I'm not likely to be interrupted and also, it can be better quality than my TV!

Stream's back up. Sorry about that
Why does it always have to be ALL LIFE ON THE PLANET, or the ENTIRE UNIVERSE!
Can't it sometimes be something like, IT CAN BLOW UP ALL OF EUROPE, i'm getting sick of THE LAST DAY OF HUMANITY, and that stuff.
People obviously WOULDN'T CARE ENOUGH NEED MORE DRAMA TO GET RATINGS IM MOFFAT AND IM SMRT AMIRITE
I remember how The Sarah Jane Adventures implied that something happened to Ian & Barbara that made them unaging since 1965 or whatever.
In the possibility of William Russel's character ever returning (unfortunately without the long-passed Jacqueline Hill), I'm not sure whether or not I would like to see him aged. The SJA comment seemed right as it gave the idea their own story could live on for quite some time (plus it was a noticable treat to see them almost fresh out of 1965 alongside Eleven in the recent DWM comic storyline), but it would be rude to deprive William of retaking the role outside of Big Finish.
This fucking scene.
Wow, BBC America blocked it in the UK. That's a whole load of bullshit.
They also blocked it in Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey and Canada.
WHO lives on Guernsey?!
Everyone's making a huge deal about the ending of the latest episode. I mean, it's not perfect and they should have done something better. But compared to the first few episodes of S7P2, it was fantastic.

the creepiest part of that episode for me was when the doctor puts his hand on his face in despair, then immediately realizes [sp]one of the BBQ Future Zombies had its hand fused in exactly the same pose.[/sp]

I may be in a select minority here, but I actually liked the ending of the latest episode. Please don't kill me.
I think all of us as fans probably don’t appreciate just how utterly loved Doctor Who is at the BBC, because no show performs like Doctor Who. Alright, there are shows that do slightly better, but not after this number of years, and not shows that sell all over the world. Think how many people have now seen ‘Rose’, that first Christopher Eccleston episode. Never mind who saw it in the first week, or even the first year. People are still watching that for the first time. Just imagine if we were able to add up everybody who eventually, over a period of years, watches an individual episode of Doctor Who, which unlike The X-Factor, unlike EastEnders, unlike any of those shows, continues to exist on your shelf. We’d be the biggest show in the country. One of the biggest shows in the world. If they measured book sales this way we’d be saying, ‘Well, it only counts if it sells on the day!’ Doctor Who carries on gaining new viewers. I’d love to know what percentage of Britain has now seen Christopher Eccleston’s first episode, say, or David Tennant’s first episode. I’m sure it’s way, way over half. That’s what we don’t quite appreciate, especially as television is going to change and we’ll be more like publishers than broadcasters, because the time of transmission is now just the date of publication, isn’t it? You know you can catch it on iPlayer, on iTunes, you know you can see it later… There’s no impetus, or not the same impetus, to see it at the time. And that’s the world in which Doctor Who will triumph. Which is why I got so ratty at the time they were saying our ratings were down when they weren’t. I remember yelling at some journalist, which I shouldn’t have done, saying do you even know that iPlayer isn’t counted in the ratings? You know there’s a whole 2 – 2 ½ million we’re not even allowed to mention, in typical BBC style. The only absolutely verified members of the audience, the only ones who are definitely there, aren’t counted in the ratings! We just use the big guess. But anyway, that’s me ranting on…”
Old but relevant.

It really would be genius... and would be superb for [sp]all the classic Doctors repeating how they're not filming the 50th... but yeah we featured in S7. Providing they feature in new content.[/sp]

[sp]I'm really interested in how they'll manage to make them look the part again. I mean... To start off, Hartnell, Pertwee and Troughton are all dead and I can't think of a look-alike for Hartnell and Throughton. Pertwees role could be played by his son, they look pretty damn similar. And then there's Tom Baker and Colin Baker, both whom have aged significantly and gained weight.
The only three I can think of that would work are Peter Davison, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann. Everyone else has aged so much or passed on so they hardly look like their roles anymore.[/sp]

Who's playing [sp]Hartnell in the docudrama again? They could just use him, he looks a lot like the guy. And they also cast a Patrick Throughton, so... there's your answer.[/sp]

[sp]The guy who played Argus Filch in the Harry Potter movies, David Bradley. He fits the role pretty well. I can't find Throughton, though.[/sp]

[sp]David Bradley and Reece Shearsmith. But personally I think Shearsmith looks nothing like Troughton.[/sp]
Hey guys, anyone who plays Fallout: New Vegas in here? If you do: I think you'll like this
A mod called "Fallout: Who Vegas" literally just released, it's been in development since 2010, if anyone played Fallout 3 and the mod called "Last Child of Gallifrey" - this is the people who made that and brought the TARDIS to the Capital wasteland, and now they've brought (and revamped it) into the Mojave.
It's on the Fallout NV Nexus (http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/50132/), next link goes to their development blog with alot more info on it than the Nexus page: http://falloutwho.blogspot.com/
Sorry if this is way off topic, but it's the most fitting place I could think of to spread the word on it :v:

Oh, one of us should do a let's play or something like that. For those who don't have NV.
I have NV, but a crappy voice. Could try streaming it.
