Oh, one of us should do a let's play or something like that.
I've been so god damn giddy leading up to it's release. I did let a mod reviewer named Alchestbreach know about it, he does quite comical (depends on your type of humor I suppose) and nice mod reviews for New Vegas, no doubt more people will do it.

I've been looking for LPers who highlight user-made content! Are there more LPers like him?
It's on the Fallout NV Nexus (http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/50132/), next link goes to their development blog with alot more info on it than the Nexus page: http://falloutwho.blogspot.com/
Oh god, if someone could port the TARDIS interior to Source I'd be so goddamn happy. The current ones are really awful and low detail.

Oh there are, don't ask me to mention any of them though - I only follow Alchestbreach

I've actually been starting on modelling the newest interior in Blender for the purpose of Source today

I've been wanting to find some for a while... any suggestions?

Awesome. Post screens when you can.
All we need now is a functional model of the Doctor. There's an 11th Doctor in the Doctor Who model pack which I think is ported from the Adventure Games, but it lacks eyeposing and faceposing. And his eyes glow in the dark.
Oh what the heck, I'll actually go record the mod myself right now - without any horrible commentating from my horrible voice, just the game audio

Usually I tend to see alot of other reviewers in the "related videos" area when watching Al's videos, they pop up every now and then. If you don't want to do that you could always just try searching "Fallout New Vegas Mod Review"

Will do, only got basic shapes of the console right now, will post some when I have something worth showing
This mod is a constant WIP and comes in 3 waves. Wave 1 to include the TARDIS, Wave 2 to include a new playable Time Lord race with class system, and Wave 3 to introduce a plethora of aliens from the Doctor Who Universe...
Oh god, this might just be the best mod ever.
[editline]28th April 2013[/editline]
I assume entering and exiting the TARDIS causes a loading screen, eh?
When hasn't it?

I'd assume so, it did in their Fallout 3 mod too, but that's just the nature/restrictions of some games
[sp]I'm really interested in how they'll manage to make them look the part again. I mean... To start off, Hartnell, Pertwee and Troughton are all dead and I can't think of a look-alike for Hartnell and Throughton. Pertwees role could be played by his son, they look pretty damn similar. And then there's Tom Baker and Colin Baker, both whom have aged significantly and gained weight.
The only three I can think of that would work are Peter Davison, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann. Everyone else has aged so much or passed on so they hardly look like their roles anymore.[/sp]
I'm gonna guess it'll be archive. [sp]people in costume as the past Doctors were spotted on set. The other possibility is every past Doctor is played by Matt[/sp]

That's a bit of a shame. Takes away the fluidity of it all to be swooshing around from place to place to be met with a loading screen. I kinda like the Portal 2 engines "world portals" in that regard. Which even give a proper "bigger on the inside" feeling.

Unreal has the capabilities to do those kinds of portals too, and I think they're easier to set up and use in UDK, I'm not entirely sure.
When did Clara learn his name? right at the end or was it in the time war book?
In the book
[editline]28th April 2013[/editline]
It's a pretty terrible secret if anybody could walk in, open the book on any page and by chance find his name instantly.
Shroud of Sorrow review if you're in to DW books:

All things considered Clara took him saying that she was basically a ghost relatively well
of course she maybe forgot it afterwards so
My girlfriend is on about going to Collectormania in Milton Keynes at the end of May, and JLC is there on the Saturday.
Its free entry and stuff, so I reckon some of us should meet up? It'd be pretty fun to hang out and then get a photo with JLC!!
I might be there as it's basically my home town but I really went off the con thing
But if I do go I'll probably be with friends and not really looking to jam with people I know from the internet.
No offence to the cool people I know from the internet.

Maybe TARDIS wanted her to know? [sp]possibly so the Doctor would find a way to stop the explosion, which also included making her forget?[/sp]
[sp]Speaking of the name, what if it's the key to the time lock on Gallifrey?[/sp]
I can't for the life of me get this Fallout: Who Vegas mod to work. I'm using the Mod Manager, it has installed the files right but when I do as the instructions tell me (aka go to bed) nothing happens.
I'll be away for a week starting tomorrow, so enjoy the Crimson Horror build-up and media ratings outcry without me =(
Ok, I'm going to watch The Five Doctors, I need to see something of Classic Who.

Worked perfectly fine for me on the first try, I installed it through the Nexus mod manager. You should probably ask on the Fallout Who forums in the help section

That has to be one of my most hated tropes in storytelling, when characters open a book in the middle instead of the first page. Who started that?

Yeah, turns out I forgot the NVSE bit. I read the whole Readme but must've missed that bit in particular.
Now I just need to find my way out of the first room.
[editline]28th April 2013[/editline]
I'm looking everywhere, I'm wearing a hat and pre-war clothes. Where are the clues?
[editline]28th April 2013[/editline]
CLUES?! WHAT KIND OF CLUES?! (seriously though, help)
[editline]28th April 2013[/editline]
Oh god, it was a note on the desk and you had to use neural-surgery precision to find the piece of shit. Crisis averted.
Just read this little tidbit, some persons guess about how the finale might play out, and I must say, I am impressed. [sp]Asylum of the Daleks introduced two things that haven't been capitalized on yet: One, the last bit of Clara's montra, "...And Remember!". The Second being, The Doctor insisted he was safe from the Dalek Nanoclouds only after he needed to give his protective wristband away, even though he insisted on putting one on in the previous scene: He also said The Dalek Nanoclouds start affecting your memory first. Then later we see Oswald can manipulate all of the Dalek Technology on the planet, so the answer to the riddle that is Clara is.... They're not the same woman at all. The Last thing the original Oswald did was imprint a memory of herself in the Doctor's Brain, which is now causing him to completely perceive random young women as Clara Oswin Oswald.[/sp]
The Five Doctors has the strangest sound track.

which gets really creepy and introduces a load of questions
[editline]28th April 2013[/editline]
also mantra, not montra
Something I just saw on facebook.
Would "The History of the Time War" be written in Gallifreyan?
If so, how could Clara read it? Even if the book itself was written in English, surely the Doctor's name would be written in Gallifreyan. THE TARDIS NEVER TRANSLATES GALLIFREYAN.
A PLOT IS AHEAD.
