Do you want a title like Dan's as well then?
I deal in frivolous speculation and trolling ElectronicG19. I'll take that title.

-snip, found it-
I deal in frivolous speculation and trolling ElectronicG19. I'll take that title.
That is the greatest title of all time
"Everything I post is absolute bollocks until proven otherwise" I'm game for it. Nobody online has ever bought me anything before :(
Titles done for both Dan and Grizz (whoever that is).
Clap clap clappity clap.
Titles done for both Dan and Grizz (whoever that is).
Thanks guys for 'voting'. Thanks Grizz for writing the original sentence. Thanks Stockers for being a gent. <3 this thread.
I'm glad the Daleks they're facing are from the timewar, since that means they will actually remember the Doctor. Hoping that the next Dalek appearance after this one is from some of the timewar Daleks escaping basically retconning out the fact that they forgot the Doctor.
I don't see the purpose of wiping their minds. I hope it's brushed under the carpet. Not as dramatic when there's no history.
Titles done for both Dan and Grizz (whoever that is).
This is beautiful.
I'm pretty sure they wiped the minds because they couldn't afford the licensing fees anymore I'm probably wrong though [editline]1st August 2013[/editline] GRIZZZZZZ
no no no no no no. Somebody on GB/Digital Spy with a good reputation spoke to their source about twelve and got this back:
Right, his nationality will apparently make the close minded flip, he's between the ages of Matt and David, he's currently in something on BBC2, and (here's the other controversial bit) he's known mostly for comedy. That's what I've been told.
Then added:
Okay so maybe I'm over-exaggerating about the stir it would cause. I say that cause the actor they've cast isn't British and is 90% known for comedy (though someone informed me he has done a period drama of some kind, which means he at least has done drama). Most people will know his face but maybe not his name. I only know it cause of the sitcom he used to be in which I watched.
Gets worse. He says it's only a short-term casting (like Chris). Wanna know who all this adds up to? One person. Chris O'Dowd. I really don't like him so choosing not to believe this.
Thanks guys for 'voting'. Thanks Grizz for writing the original sentence. Thanks Stockers for being a gent. <3 this thread.
From 1:00 onwards is Dan
Roy as The Doctor, that could be um, odd
Chris O'Dowd wouldn't be the end of the world as the Doctor if he put on an accent like David (no offense I just don't think his plain accent would fit) and they picked the right costume for him. I actually wouldn't mind another short-term Doctor as it would add a bit more variety. If it was only one series maybe Clara would even see two regenerations? :O
I didn't buy Dan a title for no reason - wait until Sunday everyone
I only have one question. Who?
Peter Capaldi is definitely not the 12th Doctor. It's no-one in the top 5 of betting, though at least 3 of those did audition for the role. Peter didn't audition. Who they have cast as the 12th Doctor is going to cause so much of a stir it's gonna last till Christmas. This is why they have to announce it as early as they can.
- This guy everybody seems to trust.
Sunday can't come soon enough
Uh I know. Every day we get a new name.
Robert Downey JR as The doctor... what. It's already old?
"Margaret Thatcher is the 12th Doctor - 100% reliable" - Dan tomorrow and forever more
100% [editline]1st August 2013[/editline] I just repost what I hear. You are more than welcome to not believe it. I'd rather not in this case. Going to sit down and keep wishing it's Rigby or Capaldi. 100% Capalid. 100%. [editline]1st August 2013[/editline]
I'm a bit baffled as to what the point is of saying that you have information, if you're not going to reveal any of it. I mean, it might make you seem a bit "special" but it doesn't really do anything useful for anyone else.
Saw this post on GB which nails my feelings on it. I don't just hunt spoilers for Who, I do it for other shows and films I like. At the moment in another tab I'm streaming a leak from my favourite band. I like knowing things quickly as possible I guess. But in all my experience people that give more clues than solid information are usually bullshitting. [editline]1st August 2013[/editline] Also O'Dowd is waaaaayyyy too busy to be The Doctor. [editline]1st August 2013[/editline] Lol. Now somebody else is saying it's a woman. Forget it. I can't keep up. Going radio silent on spoilers until Sunday.
Planned short-term Doctor casting would also be ridiculous. Apart from John Hurt. I give it 35 minutes before you're back with more info, Dan :v:
I'm just going to look at your title and be content.
