I just feel like it's gonna suck.
Bunch of people talking for 20 minutes about their favourite bits which nobody cares about really. Then they bring him out and ask him so terrible questions for 10 minutes.
Imagine if it was a real live show. Like they show you three actors going about their daily life. No idea they're being watched. Then Steven Moffat says "ONE OF THESE MEN HAS NO IDEA. THEY ARE ABOUT TO BECOME THE DOCTOR". Then it shows us their auditions and we get some Who-experts and stars talking about each one and their merits. The whole time you're asked to call up and vote on who you want to be The Doctor.
Anyway in the end everybody votes Capaldi and they send somebody to notify him but- oh my god. He didn't know he was being watched by millions of people LIVE and he's killed a prostitute on live TV and is disposing of the body. Cut back to an awkward studio where Steven Moffat does a nervous fart to release the tension. "Shall we just give it to second place?" asks Zoe Ball wiping the vomit from her mouth. Cut to Ben Daniels buying cereals in Tesco when three men wearing baliclavas throw a bag over his head and drag him to the studio. They do a nice interview where he's very friendly and makes a gay joke to which Moffat whispers "no gay jokes". Then the credits role as Tom Baker leans in and asks him "has the excitement given you a massive THROBBER!?". During the credits we cut to a live feed of Daniel Rigby smoking outside a cinema, Moffat commentates "this guy will be thinking how he fucked up the most important audition for the rest of his life".
The end.

They tried Series 1. Even filmed a second ending they were gonna put on review copies. But Chris revealed he was leaving
BBC then made it official and said Chris was leaving. In the same announcement they said they were now in talks with David Tennant.
