World Health Organisation Doctor.
I already posted it. He was also in a band with Doctor Who favourite Craig Ferguson.
Many believe Capaldi, being a friend and fan of the production team, has agreed to be a distraction. But they think even Rigby and Daniels stink of Cardiff distraction.
Andrew Scott's odds are shooting up. 13/9
Peter Capaldi's are going down. 8/15
of course that doesn't mean jack shit
Moriarty as the Doctor would be amazing
If Capaldi was asked to be a distraction, that is horribly cruel
'Hey, you've wanted to be The Doctor since you were 5, right? And you adore the show to death? Well, can you convince people you are The Doctor to distract them? We're not giving you the part though'
Imagine trying to pitch that to him
haha fpers with friends, good one
There's always these people making these posts. "Haha Fp with x?" or "I always disagreed with FP on X point, but because i'm Y i'll always be z"
Even better: "FP is a bunch of Fucking X and i've fucking had it up to Y with not being allowed to Z without being Æ, Ø and Å"
Please let this be the last.
I doubt they'd ask him directly to be a distraction.
They'd most likely just tip someone off anonymously to start spreading rumours.
Houdini could mean Capaldi - he's escaping from being Malcolm Tucker.
Probably could apply to Daniel Rigby with those BT ads as well
William Hill say the actor will ‘almost certainly’ be announced as the new Time Lord, replacing current Doctor Matt Smith when he leaves at the end of the year.
Spokesman Joe Crilly said: ‘There is no point putting the market back out because as far as we and our punters are concerned, Peter Capaldi has almost certainly bagged himself the Doctor Who gig and we will already be paying out more than enough should that be the case
Gets better:
Remember, tomorrow is Boycott Twitter Day. So no tweets, especially about the usual stuff, like Dr Who, etc.
Jesus Christ, can't somebody just leak something?
And can that leak be Capaldi?
I think if Capaldi is confirmed tomorrow, then I will be in a good mood for days.
I remember a few pages back (quite a few, before all this speculation) I said it'd be great if he was the next doctor, and posted a clip from him when he was doing In the Loop.
I'm pretty sure a lot of people disagreed with me.
I'm glad you've all came round.
It's just so odd the spoiler leakers who are never wrong still say Rigby despite Rigby being busy during the broadcast. In Scotland.
I'd be happy with anybody who doesn't match the mold of the previous docs. Somebody who doesn't have dark hair. Somebody older. Somebody with a different body shape. I just want something so different it shocks me.
PS. Somebody on GB says the reveal will be "jaw dropping".

I always thought he was unlikely but he was one of the first I thought of.
I think you guys are getting a bit over confident that it's Peter... a couple of weeks ago the same things were said about Rory Kinnear.
Still think Capaldi is a stupid choice.

i dont know if i want to watch it tomorrow :c
Just under 24 left to go until I'm revealed to be The 12th Doctor.
It would be better if the first time you saw the actor was in the role. Than the whole announcement thing.
Except that can't possibly happen because people would see him on set.
[editline]3rd August 2013[/editline]
I don't get why it has to be such a mystery. Up until Smith they'd just go "Oh so and so is leaving, this guy is replacing him" and that would be that.
This build up is stupid and only leads to disappointment.

"Heres a list of actors so you can get hyped for the ones who wont make it and then get dissapointed at the announcement."

My brain hurts thinking about that
The only thing I'm wondering is, was Matt Smith the favourite in the days before he was announced?
Doctor Who director suggests The Doctor is somebody nobody has guessed yet:

He won't reveal it though. This feeds into the previous leaker saying it is "jaw dropping".
I guess it still fits Capaldi? (let me hope)
The only thing I'm wondering is, was Matt Smith the favourite in the days before he was announced?
A couple of days before his friends were putting BIG bets on him. He ended up shooting to the top of the bookies over night until they stopped taking bets.
The day before BBC ran an article on "People who could be 11" and Matt Smith was on it. It was a dead give away as nobody had heard of him.
Then 12 hours before the show went out it was all over the net.

Definitely need to watch The Thick of It after I'm done with Sherlock. I've only seen Peter Capaldi in Skins, but he was hilarious in that.

Haha I was looking for that to post to him earlier.

New rumour:
Somebody on Twitter gave the hint the name begins with SB and is a big name.
Sean Bean?
Simon Baker?
Susan Boyle?
You've obviously never done this before. You'll hear more about 12 than the show itself.
Nah, in Sweden we don't have media all reporting at once when something regarding Doctor Who is mentioned :v:
I think I'll be fine aslong as I stay away from here and a bit of the internet in general
Misha Collins looks like he would be quite good for the Doctor role.
Or even a male companion.
EDIT: It also would fit the controversy since he's American... it actually makes sense lol
