I want 12 to tell a Dalek to fuck off
So how many regeneration's does the doctor have left?
So how many regeneration's does the doctor have left?
If we're counting the John Hurt one I believe this (Peter Capaldi) is his 'last'.
Last as in last before they have to write around it.
One after 12.

Peter Capaldi is doctor fucking now.

However many Moffat wants after a deus ex machina is written in.

I don't think there's a limit, the 12 limit was enforced by the Timelords was it not. So there's nothing to say that The Doctor will follow those rules
Let's wait to see what Hurt is first.
Wait nevermind, I'm wrong
Can Bernard Cribbins come back, by the way? He can accidentally cause the death of Matt Smith.
Wilf 2 Doctor 0
Edit: WILF IS THE VALEYARD
-nvm im dumb-
So why was Capaldi given the codename "Houdini", by the way?
So why was Capaldi given the codename "Houdini", by the way?
I think it's just a random name. Wasn't specifically for him I don't think it's more for actors to go in to the BBC and say 'I'm auditioning for Houdini'.
On another note, saw this on Tumblr.
Idk about you guys but i’m gonna start telling the time with the doctors’ actors names
"What time is it?
"Half past capaldi"
I'm gonna do this.

It's a quarter to Baker
It's five past Peter
shit
I am good with Capaldi being 12. He's good in everything I've seen him in.
Oh and I updated the OP. Vote now for your favourite Twelfth Doctor serial!

Lets not forget this. [sp]River Song used up all her regeneration energy to save The Doctor in "Lets kill Hitler" episode. That means...10 regenerations were given to him, and the plot in the 1996s film was The Master trying to take The Doctors remaining regenerations.[/sp]

What does the film have to do with this? It's been awhile since I seen it.

Is it bad that when I watch old Doctor Who Episodes, I completely forget what is happening when I do things? Should I go back and re-watch them? I mean I know what is going on, but I always feel bad when I don't concentrate on it.

Yeah, so he's not really in danger of hitting his limit
I don't think the River regenerations count as they were all used to stop the poison I believe.

Oh c'mon.
Her post had more words on it than everybody else's reaction. She inergrated the image into her post, it's no worse than the guy a few posts down who also used a gif. People were on adrenaline dude they'd just received the best news ever :(
I don't think the River regenerations count as they were all used to stop the poison I believe.
Yeah but she used up all her regeneration powers, they all went into The Doctor. That gives him her regeneration powers. It makes sense, in angels of manhattan episode she breaks her wrist but can't fix it because her powers are completly gone.

Any Whovians know this?
I am using Whovians now since it is the word for Doctor Who Fans.
I want Harkness to meet 12, because he'll still hit on him
I think Capaldi looks quite dashing, personally :v:
(User was banned for this post ("Reaction image" - Orkel))
A bit harsh considering the context and the rest of the post. : \

I'm fine with that sort of thing happening 15 hours into the regeneration but that was blatant magic. :(

I think the Moffat did that for a reason, he wanted to extend the lives of The Doctor so he wrote that whole move and probably someday in a future episode it will be explained that River Song did infact give him the regeneration powers.
