hooray! gotta love dancing wilf :D EDIT: am I the only one that finds it weird matt hasn't encountered the master at all?
Since The Master was dying last we saw him and on a one way trip to a timelocked Gallifrey. Yes.
hooray! gotta love dancing wilf :D EDIT: am I the only one that finds it weird matt hasn't encountered the master at all?
Ecclestone didn't
That's what I mean, the doctors 1-8, I would like to watch that series too aswell as own the series starting with Eccleston. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] Sorry if I sound like an idiot.
Oh my bad. Erm most people reccomend starting from The Third or Forth Doctor and working your way up. There's no plans for a box set. It's VERY different style and pace.
Since The Master was dying last we saw him and on a one way trip to a timelocked Gallifrey. Yes.
He can still meet an earlier incarnation of The Master, correct?
Ecclestone didn't
Eh, I feel that's slightly different since Ecclestone only stayed for one series - and the first one of new Who to). They didn't want to bring to many monsters back to quickly (one a series I believe is what RTD said). I just think it's weird that Matt has been here for three series and not seen him (yet).
Since The Master was dying last we saw him and on a one way trip to a timelocked Gallifrey. Yes.
Maybe he'll come back in the 50th? :v: Not like death has stopped him before! :D
He can still meet an earlier incarnation of The Master, correct?
Well none that have been on TV as they're dead. The movie Master was destroyed at the end of his first story. Unless Jacobi is used.
Perfect time for the Shalka Master to return!

But I wouldn't expect The Master till series 8 unless he's in Matts final.
But I wouldn't expect The Master till series 8 unless he's in Matts final.
Even though I doubt it's actually gonna happen I'd actually like him to be in Matt's finale. I think it's more likely the Silence though. :(
Keep remembering Peter Capaldi is going to be The Doctor. Just picturing his face alongside all the others and getting giddy. Perfect perfect casting. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] Ever wonder if there's any Doctor Who fans who aren't teenage girls who hate Peter Capaldi's Doctor without seeing any?
SHIPPING IS ERASED FROM DOCTOR WHO! (i'm so sorry)
I'd be okay with this. In all honesty, I don't care for shipping within Doctor Who. Feels like it takes away from the actual story, and not to mention it attracts all of the raving fangirls who only watch the show for the supposed relationships between the Doctor and any female within a ten mile radius. I fully welcome our new time-traveling old man.
Shipping will not die. Just give it time. Doctor/River Doctor/Master Doctor/Doctor Doctor/Doctor/Doctor Doctor/Clara Will still be things we see. Shipping has always been innapropriate character matches. Though 12/River will be a lot more tolerable than 11/River.
What's shipping?

I smiled when I saw John Hurt in there. All of these fan videos and pieces of fan art depicting all of the Doctors show don't seem to show any love for the Hurt Doctor. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline]
What's shipping?
Take the word "ship" and put "relation" in front of it.
I smiled when I saw John Hurt in there. All of these fan videos and pieces of fan art depicting all of the Doctors show don't seem to show any love for the Hurt Doctor.
Considering Hurt's Doctor is supposed to be "the one that broke the promise" and has been shunned by all later incarnations until now, that's kind of going in line with the Doctor's mindset considering he's not an incarnation even given a number (unless we want to start calling him the Eight-and-a-Half Doctor). Whatever he did, it apparently robs him of any right of being mentioned alongside the other Doctors.
I smiled when I saw John Hurt in there. All of these fan videos and pieces of fan art depicting all of the Doctors show don't seem to show any love for the Hurt Doctor.
Mainly because nobody believes he'll still be around at the end of the 50th. But I've seen some. One was a painting of all The Doctors with Hurt standing in the background with his back turned.

Don't know if this has been posted on following pages but what if it isn't really Peter Calpaldi and its actually someone else? Edit: For the idiots not understanding my post, what if this is all but a trick to fool us?
Don't know if this has been posted on following pages but what if it isn't really Peter Calpaldi and its actually someone else? Edit: For the idiots not understanding my post, what if this is all but a trick to fool us?
For what purpose? No it's him. The news really is that good. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] I can't watch Malcom Tucker in the same way. Utter jubilation. First time I've ever known of an actor before seeing their Doctor. I don't think any Doctor has had this level of hype. Very exciting. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] Lots of Who fans excited to see the show taking a more serious darker direction where there's less mucking around and comedy. Where the fuck did they get this from? If anything I can see Capaldi playing The Doctor with a certain youth and wit. I'm visioning a Tom Baker with the Tennant energy. This crap about "now he's old it'll be slow and serious" is bull shite. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] Fangirls are finding images to fangirl over Peter already. Amazing. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] Capaldi could play Tennants dad in a drama. [editline]5th August 2013[/editline] Much larger clearer version of the article I posted on the last page. Written by Peter Capaldi in the 70's for a fan magazine. What a huge nerd. I love it.

Reminds me whenever something Who-related appears in Sensationalist Headlines and people keep saying Eccleston was their favorite just because of his Doctor's darker tone.

It's your memory tricking you. He was really really silly. Farting aliens.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9q37tXUAjDw&feature=youtu.be&t=3m34s hmm wonder what's under that panel
Oh look one of my friends is in that (Quinn). Lucky bugger.

Wish Gary Oldman was the 9th Doctor. Then we could say "man, he was far too Sirius"
Still upset that it wasn't Alan Partridge :(
post pictures of wilf.
had to make this :D also first one to make 12 :D
THis was exactly what i was looking for. A doctor that has the visual that somewhat kinda matches his age.
Still upset that it wasn't Alan Partridge :(
Still hope for The Master. Though I think Simm would be good opposite Capaldis older Doctor.
