Latest Doctor puppet! In this instalment Eleven runs into the Delgado Master. If you've not seen the first 3 episodes catch up!
[sp]8's puppet didn't look very good to me, maybe because his cravat and vest looked weird. Very nice story though. Cool that it's the Master (though he seemed to act more Aintley than Delgado, but maybe that's just me). The abducted Doctors makes it seem like a reverse Prisoners in Time story, kinda nifty there.[/sp] Speaking of Paul McGann's Doctor, I know the rumors about the 8 websode seem more likely to be something for the 50th now, but is there any hope for more big media extravanza for the 8th Doctor? I'd appreciate, if not any new content, some nice articles on his Big Finish stories, novels, and/or DWM comics.
I really want the Twelfth Doctor to face off against the Master. Since obviously someone will say he was trapped inside the Time War once more, my counter argument is we could use an older incarnation of the Master. We have not seen 13 incarnations of the Master, but apparently there are more then that. Therefor, we could have a Master from the past be in an episode. I'd love to see an exchange where the Doctor is like, "How the hell did you escape the Great Time War?" and the Master is like, "The Great Time What?"
I'd like to point out it IS eighth Doctor month on the official bbc Doctor Who YouTube channel.
I'd like to point out it IS eighth Doctor month on the official bbc Doctor Who YouTube channel.
Because it is on DoctorWho.tv too which the initial rumour said is where the prequel would be posted (in August). Seemed a bit early to me. Still think it'll be November if true...
I think it'll probably be November too but I can see them at least announcing it this month in video form.
Should be on TV. ANYBODY with a Capaldi display picture; I love you.
Hello
Matt seemed so unhappy when giving that message to Peter. Its like he didn't want to go
His body language was most uncomfortable. At Gallifrey Base, home of human interaction masters, they said it's a clear sign he has been forced out. Matt I think was just very relaxed and a bit solemn, he's talking about the guy who's about to take his job and as it stands Matt has nothing else lined up. Obviously he's a bit down, part of him probably wishes he could stay, but I'm sure every actor in the role has thought that after leaving.
River Song really annoyed me. Mainly because there wasn't much chemistry between Alex and Matt and it just came off as a bit forced. [editline]6th August 2013[/editline] http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/entertainment/celebrity/doctor-who-peter-capaldi-no-2129486 Write up about Peter Capaldis career. Quite sad. Bullied in school because he was into the arts and not football. He won an oscar, was dropped by Hollywood, ended up directing dog food commercials. He was so broke he considered selling his house. He desperately wanted to play The Doctor his whole life, it was the reason he became an actor, but thought he was too old. His daughter cried when he was revealed as The Doctor.

Matt wasn't forced, it was his own choice. He's just sad about leaving it.
Matt wasn't forced, it was his own choice. He's just sad about leaving it.
Thanks for reiterating my post 3 hours later.
I noticed he was looking down and away from both the camera and the interviewer during the video message, but I think that's just because it would've been, in his mind, the single point at which he stopped being the Doctor and handed the role over to Capaldi. So he was probably pretty dang emotional about it and wanted to avoid showing just how much he enjoyed the role of the Doctor. in my opinion anyway
"How the hell did you escape the Great Fucking Time War, you Fucking fuck!?" and the Master is like, "The Great Time What?"
Better. More realistic for the 12th.
fair sure the introduction of the new doctor would have been a "this is it" for him, almost like his decision has sunk in and he has to face the spotlight turning away from him [editline]6th August 2013[/editline] not in a disparaging, matt smith is an attention seeker way - but a way that it sort of drills in "you are no longer the doctor, this guy is the doctor" way
I've got this MASSIVE suspicion the 50th will erase the events of The Time War altogether and Hurt along with it. Everything The Doctor has done since the Time War (regenerations, enemies fought, companions) will remain intact as he was in "the eye of the storm" or some bullshit but Gallifrey will be back like nothing ever happened. Then The Doctor goes to visit present day restored Gallifrey at the end of the 50th Special. To see what it's like. And he's introduced to the new Lord President. Who slowly turns around to reveal.. it's The Master *Theme tune sting kicks in* TO BE CONTINUED AT CHRISTMAS.

He's got the attitude-extremes of a 7 year-old and i'd be buggered if that doesn't come with the emotional highs and lows of being 15. not as in he never grew up, he just never geared down. I used to be just as... hyper. I wouldn't read too much into it. It's unusual to see him not jumping and flailing around, spreading a sensationally good mood. But everyone's gotta turn it down once in a while.

It is my duty to watch every Doctor Who episode...That isn't missing (doesn't include recon, I will watch Recons) [editline]6th August 2013[/editline] That post was related to the videos, forgot to quote it.
So when do we get a 50th trailer?
So when do we get a 50th trailer?
Maybe after filming for Christmas is finished. September would make sense.
So when do we get a 50th trailer?
Didn't we already technically get one but you had to be at ComicCon to have seen it?
Didn't we already technically get one but you had to be at ComicCon to have seen it?
He obviously means when will we get one for the internet and TV..

Oh god. That picture came from Facebook right? Don't set the comments to "most recent". Mind numbing "He looks like a villain :/" "I don't think I'll be watching" "David is the best" "Please tell me 12th Doctor only lasts an episode or two" "Not going to watch" "creepy" "paedophile" "Watched since Baker and loved the last three but this is terrible. How will the continue the romance with the companion?" "How original... NOT" "ERM no" "Shame Adris Elba turned down the roll" Adris Elba is a great actor. Real shame that. A small part, the rest of the comments are hugely positive. Surprising part is all but one of those comments were by men aged 18 - 35. Women are really accepting. But if one more person mentions he was in "the Roman episode" I'll punch a cat.

Any information on how the daleks suddenly remember who The Doctor is?
