Holy fuck he's so goddamn pretentious and not nice at all. Jesus christ. I DESPERATELY want BBC to go in and sue his account to smitherines. If his account was taken down, this world would be better.
What? Do explain - I never knew this
Whenever the Ood appear they're not credited to the writer of their first story like every other creation (Daleks, Weeping Angels, Zygons) They're credited to Russell.
The rumour was- that the drafts of The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit were so terrible that RTD rewrote them. He created the Ood and wrote nearly the entirety of the dialogue. Wasn't the first time either. RTD is well known for rewriting scripts that were sub-par.
I think he explains it a bit more in his book though doesn't mention the episodes he rewrote (that would be unfair). Though he does specify that Moffat's scripts rarely required any adjustments. If not the book then it was one of the Doctor Who Magazines.
The rewrites were mainly so everything fit in tone. It also stops themes and tropes repeating. It's not necessary. Probably not legal. But he was a workaholic who didn't want the show to falter at any time. He wouldn't stand by and let a boring 2-parter slide into the running.
So you believe me than Xandercom is a bit of a ass? :v:

Wow! It explains why Matt Jones was never invited back to do another episode - I liked that two parter a lot
I have a lot more for RTD than before - he sounds like a pretty cool guy

Shame he didn't do the same for episodes like Love and Monsters and Fear Her though

Doctor Who/related music time!
Oh CC. Those wonderful people who hate Doctor Who.

Peter Capaldi's band.
Craig isn't on drums on that record but he was in the band.

Would love a decent recording- non exist.
If anybody's parents has a vinyl collection of 80's punk, please have a look for some Dreamboys.

aw pity, they make nice music.

Ehh.. I quite liked it before I really expanded my music taste and discovered new bands. Exterminate Regenerate is still pretty great.
The Sound of Drums was a stand out from the second album.
But I deleted it all a few months ago. They struggle to be anything other than Doctor Who Novelty Songs and sound a bit over produced.
This was superior:

It's a cheap novelty song and relishes in that fact. It's terrible and it knows it. Did it deserve to go to number one in the UK and New Zealand? No. Did it deserve to enter the top ten in Australian and Norway? No. But it did. So fuck everybody who says otherwise.
Did that Dalek just say "BOSH BOSH BOSH - LOADS A MONEY"

I say if a song is enjoyable it's good.
So that's a good song.
especially when the theme kicks in.

Yep the song was written to prove how easy it was to get a number one I believe.
It was jam pack full of 70's and 80's references. The "BOSH BOSH BOSH - LOADS A MONEY" reference is to this

Only song I know that refers to Doctor Who that isn't a novelty song.
[sp]It's the 1st line[/sp]
Was just looking up Doctor Who in popular culture.
I've always wanted to play Boderlands. Now it's a must:
After blowing up the dam in a mission, Jack will list four names of workers killed in the flooding, all of which are the names of the first four actors playing the Doctor in Doctor Who. These are William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, and Tom Baker.
In a Star Trek Next Generation episode there's a similar gag where if you pause and zoom on a screen it has a list of Doctor actors.

And for those interested, the 8-Minute version:

It's a real shame that if you buy this song, you're giving money to Gary Glitter because it samples one of his songs.

Also the Iron Sky TARDIS
Peter Capaldis name was included in 22,081 tweets a minute the day he was revealed.
In comparison, the royal baby got 25,000.
I watched both. Capaldi was way more exciting. I screamed.

Would be perfect if it wasn't for the poorly pasted DW logo which has a different shade background. Fuck my life.
That's the biggest I could find too.

You're about 3 years late to the party there, mate.

I started watching this year, so its very logical that I'm late, but maybe I'm not the only one who didn't saw that before.

She's not got a very attractive cock sucking face really.
Whenever she did any sex based sketches on that show it just looked weird. It doesn't suit her.

Did that video of her running around naked in the hotel ever leak?
That was the strangest news story I ever read. The fact nobody denied it when it was everywhere confirms it really. Guess they had better security on those things than you think.
Probably not
it wasnt exactly a trashy lindsay lohan moment more a "so drunk I'm terrified alone and a wreck" moment
I want to get drunk with Karen Gillan.
On Radio 1 they were talking how much fun Matt is on a night out. So him too.
Hope Peter knows how to party.

even if there was leaked footage of it, i wouldn't watch it
it wasn't "hehe look at me i'm drunk woops my underwear is missing"
it was a genuine "pls help i don't know where i am and why am i wearing the doctors suspenders and nothing else oh god i'm sobbing"
