Doctor Who - Speculation and Spoilers Series 9 - General

RTD writing for 12 would be good. Then he would have written for every Nu-Who Doctor. I also want Armando Ianucci to write a 12 episode.

Armando Ianucci is at the top of my dream list right now.

Jesse Armstrong could do it - he's done The Thick Of It, Peep Show and Black Mirror. Maybe Charlie Brooker could do one if Black Mirror doesn't get recommissioned too:(

Colin Baker was a good actor. One of the best actors to take on the role by a long shot. Let down by shitty budget, writing, and a costume so distracting it actually detracted from his performance. Soon as that coat came off his episodes become 100000000 times more enjoyable. He's not that great at improv really. I know most of The Thick Of It dialogue is ad libbed, but there's a basic script underneath it.

I feel naked without my White Stripes avatar. But yeah, a story by RTD would be pretty cool. It would just be one standalone story, so he wouldn't have to be overseeing the entire series, just focussing on one cracking episode that he'd be able to edit and edit until it was perfect. Could be pretty cool.
