Lots of short punchy ones. The one 9 delivers to Rose about feeling the world spinning has buried itself in my conscience since I first saw it as a kid. Even then it blew my mind and I sat with my mouth open watching the episode. Totally in awe.
How did I forget that one haha? :D
"The Doctor's always said he’s thousands of years old, and suddenly he’s going to look closer to what we know he secretly is" says Steven Moffat, in an exclusive sneak-peek quote given to doctorwho.tv. "He’s going to look like an older man. A fiercer man. He won’t be the dashing young man he was a minute ago, and I think that’ll be rather exciting…" Of Peter Capaldi, Moffat goes on to say "He’s always looked like Doctor Who, how has this taken us so long?! Because the moment you say his name, you go ‘Of course!’ Because he’s got the hair, and he’s got the look, he’s brilliant, he’s known to be a fan, of course it’s bloody him!"
- Moffat on Capaldi [editline]20th August 2013[/editline] Must say Capaldi has really cool fluffy hair [editline]20th August 2013[/editline] Much better quality of the Proms Doctor-Clara scene. Matt's wig is very good actually. Can only notice it's an extension when he sits down and the angle takes him form the side. [editline]20th August 2013[/editline] THE MAN WHO IS INFRONT OF CLARA WHEN SHE APPEARS HAS GLORIOUS FACIAL HAIR
Matt's wig is very good actually. Can only notice it's an extension when he sits down and the angle takes him form the side.
Are we sure that wasn't filmed before he shaved it off? That's a really good wig, then.
Someone in the Youtube comments of that vid was bitching about "only" getting John Barrowman at Comic Con. He's lucky. We haven't had him in our series for years now!
Are we sure that wasn't filmed before he shaved it off? That's a really good wig, then.
It's def the wig.
Apparently the Christmas filming starts tomorrow. [editline]21st August 2013[/editline]
It's def the wig.
Seems it to me. Very different from his hairline in Series 7b and the filming for the 50th.
Is the whole Capaldi avatar thing over?
Are we sure that wasn't filmed before he shaved it off? That's a really good wig, then.
right at the very beginning when you where the hair parts it looks off.
right at the very beginning when you where the hair parts it looks off.
I see it now. Amazing.
Is the whole Capaldi avatar thing over?
Yes.
I wonder if the Doctor will eventually realise he's been overusing the sonic screwdriver and it's just making everything too easy and boring, so he gives it to River and is like "omg im trustin you with this. use it for stuff but dont lose it your life may depend on it"
The first thing I want 12 to do is snap the screwdriver in half. To show how different he is from 11. Clara staring in shock.
And then what would have happened? How did the book help at all? (no seriously I actually don't remember how much the book helped them if at all) EDIT: And they could have just gotten someone else to publish the book. :v EDIT2: They used it to find Rory? I doubt they had no other way to find him (such as a scanner or something). EDIT3: Also, how come the Doctor can go and reassure young Amy? That would change the events that happened in the Eleventh Hour since Amy wouldn't be as mad at him and wouldn't have locked up the Doctor (which then means he wouldn't have as much info about the enemy he was fighting which would mean it would be A LOT more difficult to fight him).
Duh, the book was a New York Times Bestseller back in the 30's. Were it not published, imagine the literary marvels we'd be missing out on from its influence!
The first thing I want 12 to do is snap the screwdriver in half. To show how different he is from 11. Clara staring in shock.
I'd love this that or to river
I'd love this that or to river
You want Capaldi to snap river in half?
maybe but mostly I mean give it to river :v:
maybe but mostly I mean give it to river :v:
after snapping it in half
River's getting it soon. She mentioned the doc looking older.
"Hell I'm the Octor. I gave the D to River"
As mentioned before, they show you 11 going to take river to their last date in one of the mini episode things.
"Hell I'm the Octor. I gave the D to River"
You being a fansterbater, you made that up right?
As mentioned before, they show you 11 going to take river to their last date in one of the mini episode things.
Sure. As far as he knows from what she's said. But what if she kept the real last date secret because spoilers and reasons.
Sure. As far as he knows from what she's said. But what if she kept the real last date secret because spoilers and reasons.
She didn't (unless something has changed since it was released)
DWM Moff on Capaldi: http://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/moffats-12th-doctor-hints-52620.htm

Steven Moffat offers a few intriguing titbits on Twelfth Doctor Peter Capaldi in the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine (#464). Here’s some highlights: Moffat is pretty certain Capaldi will keep his native Scottish accent for the role At the moment, they’ve only discussed Twelve’s costume in the lightest terms Moffat wanted to flip the switch the other way after having two youthful and accessible Doctors in a row He’s going to be an older, trickier and fiercer Doctor “Just as Clara’s learning to have a proper old crush on him, suddenly he’s Malcolm Tucker!” Moffat thinks it’ll be fun seeing Clara cope with the Doctor being completely different… …”I think the fun story will be – and we have the opportunity here – is this is what regeneration can do to you. He can be very, very different.” “People really love Jenna, so we make the Doctor quite difficult…” …Moffat likens the situation to Tom Baker’s first season: “He’s really quite difficult to take at the beginning, and you’re very grateful that Sarah and the Brigadier are there to reassure you.”
Hyped as fuck [editline]21st August 2013[/editline]
You being a fansterbater, you made that up right?
No idea what that means so I googled it and the only result is this page on this thread. So as it's unique, use I am a fansterbater. I made it up.
Soundtrack review: http://www.cultbox.co.uk/reviews/books-a-cds/7649-doctor-who-series-7-soundtrack-album-review Love 'Gunslingers.' Loved it from the TV trailer from ATCM alone. It was also used at the start of 'Cold War.' Also, bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-bah-bah
Jenna's face looks slightly weird in the first picture of that video haha! :v: Maybe it's just me though.

Series 7 has been a brilliant display in photoshopping ineptitude from the BBC marketing department.
