The more you look at it the funnier it gets oh my god. Why make the largest object, bar the TARDIS, so badly drawn?
I dislike how the BBC have dropped TV trailers in favour of "watch the whole series back on iPlayer" every night. Until iPlayer requests are adapted to register as views, it makes no sense. Why have they seemingly stopped at Cold War?!
Wow, some of the DWM comic strips are so lazily drawn:

To be fair, that's actually for Doctor Who Adventures, a weekly magazine they make mainly for the kiddies to enjoy.
I just caught up on the revival series and felt like making a thing and I don't know anyone else to show it to.

Also is there any particular order in which it would be best to start watching the classic series?

I would say watch from the start, but ain't nobody got time for that. I've recommended some serials in the OP though.

i can see you'll be right at home here
I remember when I first saw River, I thought she was the Rani. I still continue to have thoughts about it.
Hey, if [sp]post-library River is returning then maybe the theory of Clara being the library girl isn't too crazy.[/sp]
... Please, no, Moffat...
ok so am i the only one who's a little bit mad by bbc calling this "THE MOST U'VE EVER SEEN OF THE TARDIS"?
yeah all of 3 rooms got entered, the rest was one hallway set
I dunno, we saw a bit. Astronomy tower, library, mechanical architectural room, the Eye of Harmony, the TARDIS engine room, the Doctor's study, the swimming pool. Granted, we've seen the pool before but that's still six rooms more than we've ever seen (not including the zero room). The only thing I wish they showed was the chameleon circuit.
[editline]2nd May 2013[/editline]
I wasn't expecting a massive amount because of restraints; budget and ideas, so I was quite happy with what we were given.
The extended interior of the Tardis has never felt quite Tardissey to me
It's a significantly warped and crazy spacially distorted area, but most of the time it's just bland metal hallways. I know there are budget constraints but there's no sense of interesting design or anything to make it seem anything other than a simplified, more bare remake of an Alien or Star Wars hallway. I know we've moved on from the pretty and warm Pond-era control room but I'd still like to see just a hint of actual character in the design of the extended Tardis.
[editline]2nd May 2013[/editline]
I mean there are neat rooms here and there - the [sp]machine-growing[/sp] room was pretty, as was the Eye of Harmony, but as a coherent whole it feels far too bland for any Tardis, let alone the Doctor's Tardis

So... I kinda missed everything. Any way I can watch the latest series from the start?
DigitalSpy informs me that our companion is the 61st sexiest woman in the world :v:
It seems our avatar fad would disagree with that low placing

How amazing to see Bernard Cribbins in Who all that time ago
[editline]2nd May 2013[/editline]
Seems the Daleks were considered more interesting than the Doctor himself at that time. I know there are a lot of toy Daleks from that era, it must've been one of the BBC's first big merchandising successes.

The doctor was just an old bloke in a suit back then, whereas the daleks were kickass alien machines.

You can't watch from the start.
Most early episodes are deleted by the BBC.
The rest haven't been released.
Very soon though every 3rd and 4th Doctor story will be available. Wait till then and start from 3. It was designed as a jumping on point.

I agree with parts of it, a lot of them we have often argued here on this thread.
But some of it seems like Tennant&RTD fan rage.

Completely not canon.
In this The Doctor is a human who builds a time machine and travels about.
Peter Cushing makes an excellent Doctor though. I like to imagine this Doctor is actually an elderly Meta-Crisis-Human-Ten.
I have mastered the Gallifreyan circular language.

Technically you can watch from the start as the first serial is available, you just can't watch all of them.
And the serials that haven't yet been officially released by the BBC are still out there in one format or another, you just need to know where to look.

That's not true at all.
Many stories have episodes missing that 4-Entertain have only been sent recently. These stories have never been available on home media or online and have yet to be released. A Pertwee one only came out recently I think. Another one is still set to be released.
Even more annoying, some stories are only available in special box sets. Often you'll own the other 3 stories in the set. It's a con to get more money.

I only meant the serials that exist completely, not ones with episodes missing. Obviously the missing episodes aren't available, but every episode from Season 7 to now is available in its entirety (and I should know, I have all of them on my PC :v:)

I guess. But the quality varies.
The DVD releases and of a much better quality than the VHS releases. And some stories (Such as Terror of the Zygons) have yet to come on DVD.

Wasn't there a deleted scene at the end of Series 4 when the Doctor and Donna are saying goodbye to Rose and the other Doctor, he gave the Human Doctor a TARDIS seed? I wonder why that was removed. Probably to stop Rose and the Human Doctor from coming back over to their universe.
It is sad that most of the old missing Doctor Who episodes are destroyed, either by people who owned them or TV Companies.
Also I hear NONE of the original Doctor's are returning for the 50th, not because they declined. But because they have not been asked to.

There is a ton of sources and they have been posted in the last 24 hours. I can't tell if it is legit, but if it is then I am really pissed off.
