Peter Davison is a far better Doctor now than he was when he was younger [editline]24th September 2013[/editline] Though it is kind of odd how Old-Five is grumpy and impatient and shouty and Young Five was relaxed and diplomatic and a pussy.
If 12 doesn't get an Omnishambles in...
Rowan Atkinson should be The Master so The Doctor can shout: "From Bean to cup you fuck up"
Going on a tour of the new BBC offices in London tomorrow. Doubt there'll be any Doctor Who stuff there but if there is I'll tell you guys all about it :v: assuming there isn't some gayass non-disclosure type contract I have to sign
Official Doctor Who FB page promoted that Capaldi intro.

Unseen Doctor Who minisode from the series 7 box set, apparently there's two more that are yet to be uploaded. This one is written by Neil Gaiman (it's credited wrong in the opening).
Here's a low quality version of one of the others.

But Clara doesn't stay on the TARDIS overnight. ;_;

Now Clara shares a bed with future self. Young women walking around the TARDIS in their bed clothes. Moffat really knows how to work the eye candy to the fullest potential. I'm not going to complain. But was cut for being too expensive. Looks like they had nothing else to film. This is the most classic-Who the show has ever looked. Honestly, the whole thing feels like a Tom Baker-Romana 2 story. Quarry, dodgy henchmen, primitive alien race, cheap effects. I love it.
Was the TARDIS really clumping up Clara's timeline there, or is that her just pulling the same tricks that House utilized?
Holograms IMO. She tested the TARDIS to do it's worse - what a fine way to give an example :v: But hey, a bedroom! Has Moffat turned around the "every Wednesday" idea..
And the Scream of the Shakla team found all their hopes and dreams dashed.
Yeah :( But atleast Paul go to write for the show! BBC also wanted to shut down Big Finish but RTD stopped them
Might be getting a Mac-air for uni. Was looking at decals. I think I found one: It's all very cool until I get it out in public though.
I wouldn't be worried about getting that out in public, it's just the TARDIS. :v
Very true! I'd be more concerned getting out something misogynistic. But as a 20 year old man going to a Uni mostly occupied by gangsters and chavs, I do have to worry I won't get my face punched in and my new Mac smashed. I think I'll brave it though. Anybody with a mac have a cool Who-decal? I saw a pretty neat one using an Ood.
God, yes. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/pat-higgins/doctor-who-50th-anniversary_b_3935201.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular
"Never write for the fans. Because they still won't like it" -Can't remember who said it. Possibly Moffat.
Sean Pertwee was on this week's Elementary. You guys were right: put him on a wig, have him mimic the voice and he makes a pretty good Jon Pertwee.
http://www.change.org/petitions/petition-to-light-up-the-empire-state-building-tardis-blue-on-november-23rd-to-celebrate-the-50th-anniversary-of-doctor-who Sign this petition so The Empire State Building will be lit TARDIS blue on November 23rd. Only 3000 more signatures needed.
I remember back when only 100 more signatures were needed. Stretch goals :v:
NerdCubed asking Moffat about lesbian porn and tumblr:
It's mostly them just laughing at their own jokes as Steven sort of looks awkward. Tad cringey. I'm trying to watch it but it's a lot of hero worship and nerdy chuckling. But I do like the point Moffat makes about ratings. Worldwide ratings for Doctor Who: 77 million. BACK TO WORK MOFFAT WE GOT A SERIES 8 THAT NEEDS WRITING [editline]27th September 2013[/editline] Oooh okay- it is interesting how Moffat says RTD was planning to do big changes for Series 5 anyway as it was time. He says it's time for big changes now too. Exciting. [editline]27th September 2013[/editline] The most surprising revelation in that interview: They won't be ignoring the fact Peter Capaldi played another role. But he says it's not a chameleon arch/FOB watch. [editline]27th September 2013[/editline] Holy shit the way he talks makes it sounds like the fact Peter Capaldi has played three people in the Who Universe is a big plot detail. Apparently RTD had wrote a story as to how Capaldi could play the two character he played before. When Capaldi was cast as The Doctor Moffat emailed him and said "What was your theory and does it still work?" and RTD said it did and he revealed it. Apparently they're going to be using it in the show. Rampant fan speculation as to how three people look like Capaldi... BEGIN. [editline]27th September 2013[/editline] Another edit.. But I take everything back. This interview is great. Moffat says he's given the Weeping Angels to a "very good Doctor Who writer" and told them to come up with something new. They came back with an amazing idea but they haven't got time to write it yet. He says it might be done next year. He says he's done with the angels himself as he's out of ideas. This shit is fascinating. He's not as arrogant as most fans preach.

Appearently Big Finish was considering doing a thing where Commander Maxil (the guy Colin Baker played in the episode where he shot Peter Davidson) was another version of the Sixth Doctor from an alternate timeline, but appearently this was "too complicated" a detail (something about the plot of the BF Gallifrey series, which has been full of alternate timeline shenanigans for a while, I think)

50th stings and idents make their way to the TV screen today with Atlantis. Right on cue for the usual BBC promotional period. The new, never-before-seen trailer is coming soon. See. Nothing to worry about.
