We recently announced a raft of programmes that will be help celebrate the Doctor’s anniversary but stand by for several surprises en route to the 50th… One of them is a brand new trailer, specially written and shot for The Day of the Doctor. It’s never been seen before and is currently in post-production. Bold, brilliant and unexpected, it promises to be an ideal way to look forward to the big day – 23 November.

We’ll bring you that trailer as soon as we can, but in the meantime, here’s a shot from behind the scenes of its production. And don’t forget to catch the stings tonight on BBC One around Atlantis! If they’re on a little late for you, don’t worry, we’ll have them right here on the official site so you can watch for weeks after they air![/B]'

Except it's been shown in other places too.

I think we'll get a different one but the SDCC one didn't sound all that great. Seems like it was just to show off Tennant and Smith together out of the footage they had finished post production on.

So that's about 45 seconds to a minute of it. Not terrible but not great either.

Also the 'plus a hashtag that (hopefully!) you’ll soon be very familiar with' sounds slightly shifty. Hopefully the hashtag is '#9thDoctor'.

Another point: but since when did "official hashtag" become a thing? I don't use hashtags but if I did it would be #DoctorWho or #DW50 surely? People wouldn't know what I was talking about if I used #savetheday.

Then I see all the twitter kids going mental for it. They're overjoyed to have an official hashtag. I'm glad they're not jaded and are excited but surely that's just being a bit like sheep? Eh. I wasn't expecting anything so I'm not dissapointed. I'm not even going to open Digital Spy or Gallifrey Base. Bet it's full of entitled wankers tonight.
