It is sad that most of the old missing Doctor Who episodes are destroyed, either by people who owned them or TV Companies.
Also I hear NONE of the original Doctor's are returning for the 50th, not because they declined. But because they have not been asked to.

There is a ton of sources and they have been posted in the last 24 hours. I can't tell if it is legit, but if it is then I am really pissed off.
We've been discussing the last few pages
The 10th is back but that's it - the others are too old and didn't fit the storyline etc etc
and sources keep popping up but discussion has halted - its ruining enjoyment of the show
I dunno, we saw a bit. Astronomy tower, library, mechanical architectural room, the Eye of Harmony, the TARDIS engine room, the Doctor's study, the swimming pool. Granted, we've seen the pool before but that's still six rooms more than we've ever seen (not including the zero room). The only thing I wish they showed was the chameleon circuit.
[editline]2nd May 2013[/editline]
I wasn't expecting a massive amount because of restraints; budget and ideas, so I was quite happy with what we were given.
You see different tardis rooms in the classic episodes.
I watched Torchwood recently, and I've got to say that I found it a bit disappointing. There were some solid episodes, and it was at least entertaining throughout, but I just don't think that Captain Jack can carry as leading man. He worked well as a goofy sidekick, but his whole "ultra promiscuous" shtick wears pretty thin when he's the driving force of the show.

I think that's why Children of Earth was so good. Jack was kind of a bad guy and wasn't present for the whole story. It also focused more on how government deals with alien incursions, not Torchwood.
Seasons 1 and 2 were fucking wank. Don't even get me started on Miracle Day.
Light at the End
The five surviving Doctors from the classic era (Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann) all reprise their role, alongside companions Leela, Nyssa, Peri, Ace and Charley Pollard in the two hour drama.
Today they have announced more cast cameos from the classic era.
Full details:
The guest cast for Doctor Who: The Light at the End includes Oliver Hume as an early incarnation of Straxus (a Time Lord who has appeared several times before in the audio dramas, most recently in Dark Eyes), John Dorney as Bob Dovie, and Nicholas Briggs, who plays the mysterious Vess.
“And that’s not all,” reveals producer David Richardson. “There’s a whole host of small cameo appearances by much-loved Doctor Who stars. We’ve called these moments ‘little kisses to the past’.”
Briefly dropping in will be (deep breath) William Russell as Ian, Carole Ann Ford as Susan, Maureen O’Brien as Vicki, Peter Purves as Steven, Jean Marsh as Sara, Anneke Wills as Polly, Frazer Hines as Jamie, Wendy Padbury as Zoe, Katy Manning as Jo, Janet Fielding as Tegan and Mark Strickson as Turlough!
“It’s a mighty cast list,” says writer, director and executive producer Nicholas Briggs, “and it was a huge logistical challenge to get everyone to the studio to record this new material for us. Though we wanted to include every surviving actor from the Doctor’s past, it wasn’t possible – but we did manage to get nearly everyone!”

Children of Earth is pretty good
although after watching the thick of it I can't imagine Peter Capaldi as anyone other than Malcolm Tucker

[sp]A friend of mine has been referring to this specific incarnation of the screwdriver as a "Sonic Dildo", and many other in my circle of acquaintances have referred to it's phallic shape as well.
It really was just a matter of time before it was picked up on the show as well. Adult jokes are okay though, in moderation.[/sp]

Why did they name her Jenny when we already* have Jenny as the doctor's daughter? (

What if there's a reason for her to have the doctor's daughter's* name? :-)

You mean Jenny regenerated? Interesting. Can be.*
It's the type of 50th anniversary filming 'location' we could have expected...

Oh, and you may be interested in the latest post from the Whistleblower Blog responsible for all those finale, 50th spoilers..
Aaaahhhh... you guys! I gotcha! That was SO EASY! Pranked!!! I'm just fucking with ya! Don't get irate! Those finale and Anniversary Show spoilers? Bollocks! Made up. Absolute bullshit. Series 8 guff? SHIT. NOT TRUE. But I've taken up pages of threads on PLANET MONDAS where ATOMIC BUTT MONKEY has run back and forward from TWITTER telling the BIG BOYS what I've been saying. NEWS FLASH HOT SHOT - THEY CAN READ! What a tit. I've had the holier than thou FARSIGHTED and his GALLIFREY BASE BOYS nodding sagely about how they are so clever and that the WHISTLEBLOWER MUST be this guy, or that guy, or this person here... wink nudge wink nudge. Well, that gave the WHO NAZIS at GALLIFREY BASE a shitload of work deleting threads in case the BBC kick their asses. JESUS CHRIST HILL dry your eyes! I spoke about OMEGA and TIMELINES! Behave! THIS ISN'T MI5!
I'm ashamed of you all. You embarrass fandom. I hope STEVEN MOFFAT pisses you all right off with the 50th. Even if he is a bad tempered, narrow minded, arrogant, smug git. But you guys just make me cringe. I am truly sorry for all the genuine fans out there. Remember - 1000 dickheads, eight million fans. The math is easy.
So, unveiling... my name is Natalia Crawford. I live in Norfolk. I'm a former runner and research assistant for the BBC and worked on the series for a while in a very junior capacity. My first blog was true. I am now working elsewhere. Clocks ticking before the scary fans start googling me and checking electoral registers.
In some social circles, this is called 'attention-seeking.'

Following on from the above 50th filming location..
[sp]Scene One from An Unearthly Child is being recreated in the present day. The bobby is back![/sp]

Right that confirms it for me.
[sp]11 is meddling in his own past with some locations rebuilt from scartch[/sp]
At least that's my personal hope. Eeek. This is still exciting.

Totally agree. It would've been forgotten if it wasn't for Children of Earth.
So... I kinda missed everything. Any way I can watch the latest series from the start?
Series 7b just started. Think it's all on iPlayer.
7a isn't anywhere. Just DVD.

Oh so it's modern day Coal Hill. I wonder how it all fits together!?

Fairly certain the person who gave the number to Clara in the shop won't turn out to be Rose as so many expected.
[editline]2nd May 2013[/editline]
Rose was told the front phone didn't work. But I guess The Doctor lies.
So my friend texted me a couple of days ago telling me i could have his Who collection as he is moving and has no room for them,
so he said i could have them for free, i was only expecting a couple of things until i went to his, and this is what i now own.
(Sorry for poor camera quality)

So i thought what a better place to start than here:-

Also ten things about The Crimson Horror:-
1. Peter Davison fans will be happy - look out for a reference to the Fifth Doctor's era.
[sp]2. "Swoon! Have a funny turn! Fit of the vapours!"
3. Expect the first 'Doctor snogging' moment since 'The Snowmen'.
4. "Horse - you have failed in your mission!"
5. The Doctor busts out his Northern accent for the first time since 'The Rebel Flesh'.
6. "The bright day is done, child, and you are for the dark."
7. Kung-fu in Victorian Yorkshire? Oh, go on then.
8. "Nothing must interfere with the great work!"
9. The villain may be "sweet" - but sadly the Kandyman doesn't make a cameo.
10. "It's complicated."[/sp]

Just pretend that for each spoiler you click on, one less past Doctor will appear in the special.

If you dont want click on it then dont
