He's doing these weird quote things...
It might be a reference to the fact that David Tennant is in Richard II in Stratford-upon-Avon from 10th October to 16th November. Or it could be something entirely unrelated. Who knows.
So maybe he's doing Doctor Who but no scenes with David Tennant?
I think he's just making jokes [editline]8th October 2013[/editline] He knows fans are desperate to know about the 50th. He's teasing how overblown it all is (first picture was people meeting in private to discuss the casting of Paul, second picture was a woman getting her information from listening to a sea shell)
Matters escalated on Facebook
Jan Vincent-Rudzki: Yes, a delay because certain people and sites have no idea what discretion means... Ian Levine: I am sorry, jan, but I don't think that excuses it. The BBC are just screwing with us for a joke. Jan Vincent-Rudzki: Actually Ian, I think it's you screwing up their plans, so they've had to have a rethink. If I was arranging an event and then the details were being splashed and discussed on the Internet I would say, "OK, let's start again and keep control". Your current Twitter blasts are just offensive and childish and aren't in the slightest bit constructive or useful Ian Levine: ME ??????? ME ?????????? I have kept quiet for THREE BLOODY YEARS and you accuse ME of screwing up their plans. In what Bizarro World alternate reality did I just find myself ?? Tom Spilsbury: Three years? Ian couldn't keep anything under wraps for three minutes. He's lost a lot of friends over his behaviour, I'm sorry to say. Ian Levine: When you take stock of what's happened, Tom, I hope you will be man enough to apologise to me for the untruth in what you have said here. Tom Spilsbury: I won't apologise to you Ian, because you promise to keep quiet, and then immediately break those promises. You say you have 'kept quiet', but you simply haven't. That's the untruth, right there. You've lost my respect, and that makes me feel sad. Ian Levine: I kept quiet until it's plastered all over the press. You're so scared of upsetting anybody that you're letting them make fools of us. HOW MANY TIMES HAS THIS ANNOUNCEMENT NOW BEEN POSTPONED, TOM ??????? Tom Spilsbury: Probably a fair few more times if you keep shouting, Ian. Ian Levine: I have ceased to care. I have gotten my hopes up one too many times to be let down by whims and tantrums. Ian Levine: It's because we've been given a dangling carrot for THREE LONG YEARS and told not to tell anyone. THREE YEARS OF THIS. Sick of it. Sick to the back teeth of it. Tom Spilsbury: I'm not at Ian's throat, I just want him to calm down for all our sakes. Jan Vincent-Rudzki: This is not totally Ian's fault, at all,but I do think he is s major contributor. Speaking as a non-professional fan. .. Tom Spilsbury: All I'll say is you don't put out a fire by pouring more petrol on it.
GalliferyBase has also closed discussions on the subject of missing episodes.
And the Doctor Who buying spree continues, got Revisitations 3, City Of Death and Pyramids Of Mars. I'll probably end up asking for more at Christmas.
Info Dump! BBC One had made their iPlayer update statement and also plans for BBC One +1
The BBC's "new vision" for the iPlayer focuses on three main areas, namely a greater range of content, new ways of watching BBC TV shows and innovative new features. It pledged to experiment with pop-up channels around key events and festivals, online channels, more exclusive content (based on the BBC Three comedy pilot successes) and the ability to personalise an evening schedule. Other areas of experimentation include an increased watching window from 7 to 30 days, the ability to pause on one TV and resume on another, more relevant and personalised recommendations, and specially-made spin-off online programming for shows like EastEnders, Doctor Who and Strictly Come Dancing, as well as themed archive collections. Director of BBC Television Danny Cohen said: "From new programming exclusive to BBC iPlayer, to new online and pop-up channels around special interests or major events, BBC iPlayer will be bursting with more content than ever. "We want to allow viewers to make the choices about what they watch and when. Over time, more and more of our programmes will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer before they are broadcast on TV, allowing viewers to create their own evening schedule. "And, programmes will be available for longer - increasing the catch-up window from 7 to 30 days. All this will make BBC iPlayer the ultimate destination for TV fans for years to come." Director of BBC Future Media Ralph Rivera added: "BBC iPlayer is one of the BBC's greatest inventions and one of the UK's favourite brands. "We plan to revolutionise iPlayer from a service primarily used to catch up on BBC TV to an entertainment destination for all - wherever you are. "With innovative interactive features and a new design that helps you discover more hidden gems from the BBC, iPlayer will transform online TV for audiences now and in the future."

"Any plan for channels starts with BBC One," said Hall. "Above all, BBC One needs to be on top form. It has to be the nation's favourite channel, but also its bravest. "We'll also look to launch a BBC One +1 channel, too – it's what audiences expect, especially younger ones, and it means people can get more of what they've already paid for."
[editline]8th October 2013[/editline] http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a521925/bbc-unveils-next-gen-iplayer-a-primary-entertainment-destination.html
BBC +1 channels have been such a long time coming.

DAMN YOU FREEZE!
Unsure if some of the following has been mentioned before, so apologies if so. Ian Levine has said on Twitter: "One thing I can tell you. If we have ANY hope of seeing any more, each and every fan needs to download those iTunes episodes on Friday...... - or whenever they become available. If people wait, or try to get them for free, or stick them on YouTube, it will kill any chance of... .more. EACH AND EVERY Doctor Who fan needs to download those episodes on Friday. Something like fifteen quid to secure Doctor Who's....... ..Who's treasures - we must stop anyone who tries to illegally abuse this. Please everyone do your bit. We have never had this chance before" Suggesting that the BBC are aware of more episodes but want to gauge interest before they commit to more(possibly at a cost to them). The current rumour is that The Enemy of the World and the Web of Fear will both be released on iTunes this week ahead of a DVD release. If anyone has the slightest passing interest it could make all the difference if you buy them! Ian Levine knows nothing. He found a bunch of episodes a few decades ago and now thinks he's the messiah. He was given some classic Doctor Who scripts as a reward and has since acted likes he's had a major part in every recovery. He's determined to have his name in the history books, he only found out about the returned episodes a few months ago. He instantly screamed on twitter about it.

So the BBC was trying to downplay the value to get them cheaper. What didn't help was people tweeting about them and websites writing about them. Hadn't heard that about a potential MP recovery being damaged. I'd been presuming that the find would come from a different country but I suppose a private collector would be more likely as that avenue will have dried up years ago.
Well I only know what I read in other places and it's impossible to know what is fact and fiction. I've heard every theory imaginable. Even rumours Beth Willis brought them back herself. Another said she disrupted negotiations in a major way. Some says she took a hammer and smashed up Power herself. You've just got to trust what gets said most and MEW and EW is the ones I've heard most. We'll know soon, shame I'm too broke to buy them and support the whole thing. I trust the rest of you will do the right thing ;) [editline]8th October 2013[/editline] If we turn out to be wrong and Power of the Daleks get released Friday- I'll buy the shit out of that. Same for Evil.
Poster Revolution on amazon are selling Doctor Who posters for 20-50 pence plus £3 delivery. I've seen the same posters sold in shops for more than £7. I just got the Van Gough one delivered and the quality is pretty good.
Outpost Skaro says there's plans for a November DVD release with all the special features as usual. Probably better off waiting for that.
So what is the likeliness of McGann being in the 50th?
More likely he's in a prequel for the 50th. Newly filmed footage - prequel Newly filmed footage with other doctors - One of the 'best of' programs Paul Mcgann and the other doc plays satire of themselves - Davisons short film Specially made footage using archive, voice over, CGI, and camera wizardry - Special That's how I see it going down.
I highly doubt there will be any CGI Paul McGann in the 50th, if they got him in for a prequel they could easily also film a few scenes for the actual 50th.
But what if he refused to do the TV Movie look because of his wig issues?
the tv movie was only like a couple of hours of his life - for all we know he shaved his hair off just after it :v: [editline]9th October 2013[/editline]
Deborah, along with Frazer Hines, will be helping the BBC to launch the newly found Doctor Who episodes this Thurs (10/10/13), between 3.30pm and 7.00pm approx.

the tv movie was only like a couple of hours of his life - for all we know he shaved his hair off just after it :v:
The only reason Paul was in a wig is because he had to shave for an earlier film. Last I checked the TV Movie's commentary, he's still got some issues with the wig he was given. Though more seriously, I'm sure the BBC could provide him a better one if needed. Speaking of which, I wonder if Matt has said anything about the one he was issued.

For all we know the Doctor could have walked into the TARDIS after the movie's events, looked in a mirror, and shaved his hair off.
Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor on 23rd November at 7:45pm An Adventure in Space and Time on Friday 22nd November at 9pm
From a leaked BBC America schedule. Times have been translated into GMT (or at least for TDotD, dunno about AAiSaT).
GMT would make sense for both, unless Adventure is actually a saucy depiction of the sexual deviant that was William Hartnell, and is airing at 2AM in the UK. Although I think it's only the special itself being simulcast, not the docudrama.
Although I think it's only the special itself being simulcast, not the docudrama.
Yeah that's why I wasn't completely sure about it.
