either that magazine has made a massive error or suddenly i'm 10x more excited for the 50th (or it's just fake which is completely possible, so I won't get my hopes up too much)

Joking aside I think nobody considered this one. We all debated if it was Rose or River. I guess it could [sp]be any past female companion. The door is open, who knows who else is coming back. Now we got Donna it's time to start asking ourselves why Martha couldn't come back? Why should she be the only 10-companion not to? If 10 gets all his companions shouldn't everybody get theirs? Louise Jameson said they were told to keep some days free. I really think every living companion will cameo in some way.[/sp]

[sp]Last time I checked, it was established that the Meta Crisis Tenth Doctor is the one who will be returning, not Series 2 Ten. That's why Rose will be with him. And it would make sense for Donna to make an appearance since she had a hand (haha) in creating Meta Crisis Ten.[/sp]

ok i should really stop reading spoilers that was only one.
Well my some of my Doctor Who DVDs came today, (I'm still waiting to get the email saying I can now pick the other two stories up from a bookstore) dived straight into City Of Death and really enjoyed it. Story has a good bit of humour with a surprise cameo from [sp]John Cleese[/sp] to top it all off. I think the Pyramids Of Death will be next on my list.
Also on an unrelated note does anyone know what time the newly recovered Doctor Who episodes are being unveiled to us? I heard it was midnight but I caught someone saying that was in Australia and not the UK.

9 is such an amazing number. Wonderful. 9 episodes of Doctor Who thought lost forever. 9! Usually you find 1 or 2 every couple of years. A large bunch were found last year too. How great is this!?
But as everybody has said if you buy them the BBC will release more, so I imagine that means the rumoured Marco Polo is there too and is going to be an expensive fix.

Web of Fear is a story I've always wished was returned. Enemy of the World is a Troughton story I've always hoped to see. The only thing better than this would be Episode 4 of Tenth Planet, Power of the Daleks, or Marco Polo.

Notions of Power of the Daleks being located aboard were very unlikely to have truth to them. Terry Nation had plans for a spin-off ("The Destroyers") with his creations and as a result - stories featuring the Daleks weren't shipped around the world in quite the same fashion.
Something worth thinking about: Blogtor Who went to interview Tom Baker and Peter Davison today. Tom Baker hardly makes a public appearance these days let alone interviews with fansites.
The interview won't be live until November 4th.
Maybe they're talking about 50th involvement which will be revealed around then? Prequel? 50th itself? Who knows.
