Also I think the word [sp]"emo" was used by this guy as he's a slightly older more jaded viewer. It's probably a reference to their emotional relatibility. Often they have a little cry so viewers can go "ooh I sympathise with this Doctor". I think this leaker is trying to say there will be no crying. Also he probably just wanted to do the Captain Nemo rhyme[/sp]

Some speculation the regeneration limit is going to be a major part of 50th/Christmas.
The rumour is [sp]Hurt is 9, Chris is 10, Tennant is 11 AND 12, Smith is 13. Hurt is the first life in a brand new life cycle. This is what Moffat means when he says he wants to do something major. It's also what he means when he says he wants to do something that will allow Doctor Who to run for another 50 years[/sp]
Then a very similar rumour says [sp]Tennant is just 11. But there's ANOTHER Doctor between McGann and Eccleston. Which makes Matt 13. The general rumour is that Matt is 13[/sp]
So it goes to show you can't trust any of these rumours but it is worth think about.

That's the theory and has been for a very long time. Never once been disproved. The Doctor has only ever mentioned the amount of 'faces' he had not regenerations since then.
The Doctor himself seems to suggest that by diverting the energy into the hand he kept his face but still regenerated (afterall it stopped him dying, so it was still a regeneration)
The thing is with regeneration is that you don't actually know what keeps count and how it counts them. Does his body count the 10th Doctor's fake one? Who knows! Or maybe the timelords used to count them so it doesn't matter anymore.

holy shit that would be so cool and everything would then make sense about this entire weird plot arc
