No more regenerations if the fan theories are correct. [editline]20th October 2013[/editline] Keep watching the trailer. It really is masterful.
Two very obvious choices for dates, but oh well :v:
We believe a trailer will be airing either on Saturday 26th October or Saturday 2nd November. DWO also understand that the floodgates will open, promotion-wise, and the 50th Anniversary special (along with said promotion) will, as Steven Moffat put it all those moons ago, "Take over TV"
That was an awesome as hell teaser. God damn.
I really need a frame by frame of this masterpiece.

Man, that score on the trailer is just hm hm hmmmm
Here's the picture of Hartnell the used for the closeup: [thumb]http://i4.walesonline.co.uk/whats-on/film-tv/article4599104.ece/ALTERNATES/s2197/William-Hartnell-4599104.jpg[/thumb] You can see how much work they put into it.
Not entirely clean, but still
Fun fact: The guy who plays Dudley Durnsley: [t]http://bloghogwarts.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/duddy.jpg[/t] (That dude, the annoying brat from Harry Potter) Is the grandson of Patrick Troughton. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Melling_(actor)
Quick comparison.
-Snip y'all beat me to it- [editline]20th October 2013[/editline]
Fun fact: The guy who plays Dudley Durnsley: [t]http://bloghogwarts.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/duddy.jpg[/t] (That dude, the annoying brat from Harry Potter) Is the grandson of Patrick Troughton. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Melling_(actor)
Yep. I found this out the day before Capaldi was announced as The Doctor. There was a rumour he had been cast as 12. He's a really good actor. Perhaps too close to Smith in mannerisms though (he does a lot of hand gestures). I can't help be feel Harry Melling (this guy) and Daniel Rigby (also rumoured as 12) seem like they go to the same sort of casting calls. Is it possible they've auditioned for the part of a new male companion? Somebody a bit nerdy looking? It's just weird that the guy was right about Ben Daniels but also had these two names seemingly from nowhere?
My company helped make this trailer :)
Man, CGI Hartnell was pretty damn good. [editline]20th October 2013[/editline] Also, that last part on the score for the trailer after 11 says the name of the special is just so kickass. [editline]20th October 2013[/editline] Wouldn't mind if the Capaldi theme was like that.
I was browsing around Youtube and I found this thing. I believe it to be rather wonderful myself.
hasn't got shit on the peter capaldi one
My company helped make this trailer :)
Stop working on cool things. [editline]20th October 2013[/editline] For the first time I think they've got a theme better than the 2006 one. I hope they use it and stick to it for a while.
I really really like the new bit in the theme.
hasn't got shit on the peter capaldi one
I bet you're working on the official Capaldi titles right this second too.
I know it was a bit of a joke but I doubt they'd be starting to work on the Capaldi intro this early considering filming doesn't even start until next year and effects and the like are some of the last things done.

I love how the theme in the trailer kind of went from the electronicy bit to the full on orchestra at the end. So fucking PUMPED.
Trailer repeated on TV tonight. Good to know.

Or that's the optimist in me speaking anyway

Took me forever to notice it, but during Hartnell's close-up around 0:13, you can see a few strands of hair at the back of his head moving. Also you can see a fez from 0:03 to 0:08 as the wooden box moves out of the way.
