No no no.
I just expect Day of the Doctor to be a hell of a lot better than Thor 2 as Thor 2 is a fun popcorn flick and Day of the Doctor is the most exciting thing to happen in my entire life.
I still like Thor 2!
your lies do not deceive me

-marzipas is the only one left, crying due to no eccleston-
-he's about to leave the theater-
"MARZIPAS"
-he turns to the screen, it's Eccleston-
"I'M HERE FOR YOU"
-joy to the world starts playing-
-Eccleston smiles and the camera zooms into his teeth-
-Marzipas is having multiple orgasms-
-Eccleston's giant head bursts through the screen and consumes reality-
Guess who has tickets to see doctor who in theaters.
Lots of people! :v:
Second guess: Dame Judi Dench

Eccleston?!
If you keep this up, you're going to be christopher heccleson
One condition on all his Thor 2 interviews was he will not answer anything about Doctor Who.
[editline]28th October 2013[/editline]
Reading interviews with Chris for Thor 2 is gold.
He gets asked if he liked Marvel comics and his publicist pips in with "you loved Marvel as a kid didn't you Chris?" and Chris shrugs her off and says "I never liked comics as a kid, I liked playing outside"
Later on he says how much he loves Star Trek (the original series) and hates Star Wars. The interviewer asks if he'd ever consider doing one of the new Trek films and the publcist enthusiastically interrupts with "Never say never!" to which Chris responds "the original series was important to me but I wouldn't whore for it".
Haha northerners.
He also mentions he was out of work as soon as he finished Thor. Maybe he wouldn't have been if he accepted Doctor Who which started immediately after.
If he prefers to look for new roles instead of returning to old ones, then fair enough. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Considering how many DW actors have been on the TV saying how it's a "job for life" this year - it has probably only reinforced his decision not to return.

I imagine to Chris it sounds like a horrific punishment every time somebody says the words "job for life".
Doctor Who will be taking part with Children in Need - no further details.
When's Children in Need again?
The 15th of November, a week and a day before the 50th. :v:

Ah yes. The Peter Davison short film that just happened to include all the past Doctors and was filmed at the BBC studios and bizarrely had BBC backing. Some might call it an excellent cover up.

It's at least nifty enough that I decided to bend the rules a bit and try getting someone other than me in that title sequence (sorta): Laugh at its crummyness.

Soon as I saw the first link I knew it would only be a matter of time before people slip McGann or Capaldi into the title sequence. You didn't let me down.
Oh my god the nostalgia power of that picture is overwhelming
His hair seems longer for some reason, but when I look at photos of him as the Ninth Doctor, it looks exactly the same.
What timey-wimey sorcery is this?

Oh Chris Allen. He used to work for digitalspy

Longer hair, further receded hairline, cancels out.
I love Eccleston's smile.
