Can I post my costume here? It's Doctor Who related. [t]https://scontent-a-iad.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/1453430_631835230199980_589320166_n.jpg[/t]

This month's the month.
This month's the month.
Oh, so it's that time of the year for you too?
betting 10 quid that the capaldi costume will feature a hoodie
An old man dressed as young man in contrast to Matt's young man dressed as an old man? the best costume? Back in October when Peter Capaldi was 'shopping for a costume' he visited designer Paul Smith and his team. So maybe look at Paul Smith fashion to get an idea? It's gonna be an indie Doctor I can tell. [editline]1st November 2013[/editline] Rumours floating about that Armondo Innucci is writing for S8
Hopefully those rumours lead to such dialogue as
12th Doctor will wear a fedora and trench coat his catchphrase will be "EUPHORIC"
Perhaps I'm not giving the classic series audience enough credit, but I was watching a Peter Davidson - Cyberman EP and thought, how did the audience of that time understand the plot, it's a bit complicated? Fans of the Matt Smith series would hate it as it doesn't feature a baby saving the day.
Fans of the Matt Smith series would hate it as it doesn't feature a baby saving the day.
massive generalization based on a tiny part of the audience :v:
massive generalization based on a tiny part of the audience :v:
Good to see your monthly post, Rapist :v: .
I personally don't think i will get past David Tennant. I just can't! He is/was the best!
I personally don't think i will get past David Tennant. I just can't! He is/was the best!
Soon you will come around. everyone comes around eventually. except rabid fangirls but we don't talk about them.
Eh I like david but he felt a bit less fun than chris.
So another cinema near me has added a showing for DotD: http://www.glasgowfilm.org/theatre/whats_on/5505_doctor_who_the_day_of_the_doctor_3d Liking the poster they've used. :v:
50th anniversary collection on iTunes includes the 8th and 9th Doctors Revisited specials.
8th Doctor revisited is on this Sunday right? 9 is next Saturday
I'm going to be honest, I always disliked Matt because I found him a bit too childish, but he has started to grow on me. A bit late considering he isn't going to be around much longer though.
Have you guys been listening to this podcast called Splendid Chaps? On the 23rd day of every month, they release a podcast talking about a Doctor and a theme often related to that Doctor (like Ten/Sex). Is pretty good.
From New York, the most recent picture since Capaldi became (from a production POV) The Doctor!
Looks like there's probably no beard for the Doctor then as he would have had it during the costume choosing to make sure it all fits.
Capaldi looks like he's been swimming in a pool of chlorine for three days. Or he's extremely high.
Looks like there's probably no beard for the Doctor then as he would have had it during the costume choosing to make sure it all fits.
I don't know if you've heard of this thing.. It's called shaving?
Exactly 3 weeks to go! eEEEE
Looks like there's probably no beard for the Doctor then as he would have had it during the costume choosing to make sure it all fits.
It's a know fact that only evil people have beards. That's why Hurt Doctor is the only beardy incarnation of our babyfaced Timelord. [editline]2nd November 2013[/editline] Apparently Series 8 will be split again and if Peter isn't popular at the end of it he'll leave after 1 series http://www.express.co.uk/news/showbiz/440539/Who-s-Next-New-Doctor-Peter-Capaldi-may-stay-just-13-episodes Doubtful this is true. Moffat so far has spoken how important a non-split series is for the new Doctor. Also they say the 23rd of November is the "30th Anniversary" and have take Moffats quote about entering the TARDIS in 3D and used it to their own means. complete bollocks
I don't know if you've heard of this thing.. It's called shaving?
Why would he shave if filming starts soonish, and promotional material even sooner most likely? I know Steven Moffat would probably prefer no promotional material, but it's completely possible the BBC would ask for a new promotional image of him in his costume - he has to be ready for that and thus wouldn't be able to just shave his beard off willy nilly most likely.

Shoddy journalism. Of course he might leave. It's always possible that it will be Moffat's final series and a new showrunner may appreciate the option to keep/lose 12.
A TV website in Finland has leaked the Day of the Doctor synopsis: Roughly in english:
[sp]Clara saved The Doctor on Trenzalore, but entering the time stream awoke The Doctor's dark side. What if The Doctor had chosen differently on the last day of Gallifrey? A millennium as The Doctor, but what now?"[/sp]
Which changes everything we thought we knew about Hurt on it's head. Because now it seems while he is still set between 8-9 he [sp]seems to be an alternate (9th) Doctor who never existed. A dark Doctor? A possible Doctor? The Valeyard?[/sp] Also spoiler fun from people: - Trailer is coming the 9th - Children in Need will have a clip from the 50th NOT the prequel. - The prequel will come in the week after CiN and before the special. Also spoilers on Christmas from somebody who has seen a rough edit with no music: [sp]-LOTS of enemies -No tweed -Matt has a big speech and a proud reflective regeneration -Capaldi keep his accent[/sp]
I think we need someone finnish to translate that properly, cause that's probably a google translate translation. It probably makes no sense, or is translated wrong.
