Also, my cinema tickets are for 7:30pm. Guess that means I get to start watching it early, dunno about anyone else. :D
Don't forget about the adverts before hand!
Don't forget about the adverts before hand!
aye, I imagine the adverts will take us to the 7:50 broadcast
If not, I'm going to be a massive dick and text all of my friends at home the ending when I come out.

"shown at industry events"
So we're FINALLY getting the comicon trailer
Don't forget about the adverts before hand!
What sort of adverts last 20 minutes? (but they could always show the inevitable prequel I guess)

There might be all the usual trailer/advert shtick you get at the cinema. That, or they've listed the showing as 7:30 to allow everyone to get into the cinema and settle down before it starts at 7:50.

At least here they aren't.

Yes they are. Each is about 4-5 minutes long. You get 4-5. Also get adverts on top of the trailers. Also the "Don't forget a coke"/"don't pirate"/"turn your fucking phone off".
The prequel is included in certain screenings as foretold by BBFC. It's part of the running time.
If anything cinema viewers risk being slightly behind TV viewers.
Cinemas should live stream the Doctor Who: Live following the special :v:
But we'll all be sat there watching Behind the Lens.
Each is about 4-5 minutes long.
not here
last time i went to the cinema the ads overall were about 4 - 7 minutes long, iirc - about 30 seconds to a minute long each

Weren't the cinema releases supposed to have 15 mins of extra content?
I dunno if I've posted this here before, but Telltale should really make a Doctor Who game in collab with one of the Doctor Who writers, walking dead style.
You could play as either the Doctor or a random person or a random companion that possibly wasn't seen on TV then make moral choices n stuff. It'd be great.
EDIT: oh - http://www.reddit.com/r/doctorwho/comments/1q5w3b/what_do_you_guys_think_of_telltale_making_a/
i honestly hadn't seen this before i posted that
You're all missing the highlight of the anniversary
http://www.bbc.co.uk/tv/bbctwo/live
Celebrity Antiques Road Trip
Doctor Who veterans Colin Baker and Peter Purves explore Herefordshire and Worcestershire with £400 to invest in antiques with experts Will Axon and James Braxton.
>worcestershire

Been playing Telltale games since long before they became popular and they were always the favourite for a Doctor Who game.
Telltale even once said it's the dream to make a Doctor Who game. I seem to remember when BBC first asked fans about the possibilities of Doctor Who games and Telltale was a popular request. This was before that Walking Dead game which ruled the world.
I always thought a 50th-multi-doctor would be perfect in the form of an adventure game.
Part of me wants Quantic Dream to do it. Telltale would no doubt make a better game. But Quantic could make a Multi-Doctor story that looks beautifully real. I'd be the best way to see 4 as his young self again. But like I said, Telltale would make a better game.
Personally if there would be a telltale doctor who game I think it should be done playing as a companion.

Looks like Gallifrey to me
oh my my
exciting
I really think that scene in Unearthly Child where The Doctor enters the junkyard and as he approaches the TARDIS a painting catches his eye. "I've never seen that before" he says as he holds it up to investigate it before getting distracted (it's not in the pilot version of the episode, only the finished version).
It's the type of thing Moffat would pick up on and write a story round.
When you squint, the two fireballs on the right look like an arm with a hand and holding the green sonic screwdriver (the green star) :v:

A little prop of the TARDIS is going to be working it's way around TV shows. You have to spot it.
