You know what could've been cool? If we'd planned ahead, and figured out a few cinemas across the country that were the most easily accessible by all of us, and then met up and watched the 50th in a couple of groups across the UK (as far as I remember, those of us in the UK are all spread out a fair bit, so it would make more sense to do it in like, two or three groups, rather than just one). That could've been pretty fun.
Guess we'll just have to save it for the 100th anniversary :v:

The plan was for the TARDIS to change every time it landed somewhere. But they ran out of money and it stayed as a police box. It was a total accident.
Nobody got the inspiration for it. Nobody planned it. Nobody came up with it.
The fact he only complains now goes to show he's just after money.
Just a point, is he suing over the use of the police box, or the actual idea for a "TARDIS" (as in, did Coburn decide on the police box shape or did he simply create a shapeshifting time machine)?
No idea but the guy is a total dick who is just after the money, it even quotes him in the article saying he wasn't a fan of his own fathers show, what a scumbag.
