Not leaks. Users have been posting 'rumours' about how Christmas plays out. I'll sum it up:
Last rumor I heard about christmas was [sp]11 regenerates to 12 while in the Big Ben clocktower, as the clock strikes midnight.[/sp] Is that proven false then?
[sp]He may not even be wearing Matt's outfit (so no hope for those who enjoy seeing the new Doctor in old Doctor clothes).[/sp]
nooooooooooooooooo

3 Days to McGann or No McGann.
The Pauldorica is opening, in three days.
or the McGanndorica, if you like
They shoulda released it on Friday, since that way it'd be eight days to go until the actual special.
What if Paul McGann isn't in it. It'll be real sad. :(
Meanwhile, in Liverpool:

Night of The Doctor may be available online TOMORROW according to this:

Just seems extremely convenient for the Sisterhood of Karn to (seemingly) be included - out of nowhere. Not exactly the most obvious nod to the classic series.
i.e. Elixir of Life
i.e. Difficult regenerations
This is interesting. Classic series Sisterhood:

New series sisterhood:

The actress standing up in the classic series shot is called Gillian Brown who looks like this these days. Which appears to be the woman in the new series shot. She's called Ohica and in the classic series episode 'The Brian of Morbius' was made High Priestess of Karn at the end so it makes sense it would be her from a story perspective.
First returning actor from the classic series? (Spotted on Gallifrey Base).
It also looks like Claire Higgins...
I didn't know until recently that the Great Time War occurred during the series itself. I was under the impression for eight years that it happened before the series began. I'll go hang my head in shame now.
To be fair, it was never specified when in the show apart from Time Lords yesterday, no Time Lords today.
I honestly don't think this is the one
Based on that wording, you think there's still a chance to see Paul elsewhere?
I still think it'd be great if Capaldi was never officially announced as The Doctor
and then in the 50th that painting rumour turns out to be true, and he's one of the paintings. Nice surprise reveal.
You could probably wear matt smith's later costumes where he wore that very modern coat and get away with it so long as its buttoned up
i actually emailed the guy that makes them about it and was interested, until this bit
I was just about to buy tickets, and then I find out that it's sold out at both theaters in my city.
Great.
um, apparently this wasn't true? I rechecked the website and it was changed from 7:30 PM (SOLD OUT) to just 7:30 PM. thanks jesus you really helped me out here :)
So I was watching this TV soap called River City (set in Glasgow, it's only available on BBC Scotland), when I noticed something peculiar:
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/ohWVWhQ.png[/thumb]
It's a little too perfectly placed in the shot to be part of the scenery. So I thought, 'maybe the creators of this show are celebrating the 50th anniversary in their own small way. But then when the credits rolled, I noticed this:

Where have we heard this name before?

So there we are. I thought it was cute.

Interesting theory about Rose. Might be late given how I've been attempting to avoid spoilers.
[sp]bad wolf rose decided to first take a detour and chilled with the hurt doctor and kill some daleks[/sp]
A tabloid has ruined a surprise in An Adventure in Space and Time. Do NOT go looking for it. Especially you, Dan.

The BBC are inserting the TARDIS into nearly every show for the next two weeks. It was also in Holby City this week.

Pffffft! As if I'd read a tabloid.
Though some twat already tweeted it if the surprise begins with 'M'.

McGann's Birthday today.
Then the day after is McGann days until the Special.
Then possible-McGann day

I have no reason for my thinking. I just don't know. Outpost Skaro closed their website and did maintenance which they later said was "not because we're expecting a traffic spike after a classic Doctor pops up this week". Which seems to me they're hinting this IS the McGann episode.
But it still seems too good to be true.
There's other minisodes: Last Night for example. There's other things happening too. One of the shows, I think one of the ones on BBC3, is going to have some nice surprises. Information about that show was leaked months ago and at the time it said it would include newly filmed footage of all the Classic Doctors written by Mark Gatiss.
So who knows. I think we will see McGann, there's no guarantee that it will be this specific video though.
That render and comp needs work. They should have got an HDRI in there, the sub surface scatter needs to be increased it's not showing up very well in the face, the eyes need more refraction better reflection, the creature needs a slight blur. Sorry I'm crazy.

hi this is 2007 they want their no-budget cheapskate cgi back.
Terrible cgi aside, that creature was terrifying. Especially how you could still see its ribcage, it was like John Carpenter's Thing. For Saturday evening BBC1, it was horrifying.
When I saw that episode I was heavily reminded of Dead Space.

But a UK exclusive, can anyone upload it to youtube or dailymotion for us "others" to watch?
The official BBC youtube uploaded it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U3jrS-uhuo
Not sure if it's viewable outside the UK or not.
