They're currently playing all of An Unearthly Child on BBC4
Just finished watching An Adventure in Space and Time.

However the original ending of the episode was Hartnell, Troughton, and Pertwee (played by Gatiss) doing the publicity shoot for The Three Doctors. It filmed. Gatiss says he has the pictures to prove it.

Why are people interpreting the [SP]11th Doctor[/SP] being there literally? I saw it as a metaphor, that William Hartnell accepted he was being replaced in the role and that based on the success of it, it was the potential that the show would go on for another 50 years, hence we[SP] see the latest Doctor[/SP]. It was that thought in my opinion that made him happy, not seeing [SP]Matt[/SP]
Meanwhile in the land down under they'll be playing Adventures through Time and Space straight after Day of the Doctor.

Should I feel bad that I find the first ever episode a bit dull? I think the shows lack of development at the time hinders it a bit.
It is a bit of a dull episode, it's only so praised because of what it kicked off.
Susan dancing to the radio is pretty cute tho.

Most consider An Unearthly Child Part 1 to be genius. But the following parts were quite empty. The Daleks (as seen in the show) saved it all.
