I'm happy with that as a celebration for 50 years. Saturday just feels like a bonus now.
It's the ONLY thing we needed to celebrate 50 years. They'll show it again for 100 years and just [sp]CGI in the current Doctor[/sp]
It's probably all we would have got if the series didn't come back in 2005 (minus [sp]Matt Smith at the end. Maybe a CG of all the other Doctors?[/sp]). [editline]21st November 2013[/editline] wat
So what's next? Is there anything else about Doctor Who being broadcasted before Day of the Doctor? Any mini-episodes?

Just finished watching An Adventure in Space and Time. That ending with [sp]Matt Smith[/sp] was awesome. [sp]I don't want to go.[/sp]

However the original ending of the episode was Hartnell, Troughton, and Pertwee (played by Gatiss) doing the publicity shoot for The Three Doctors. It filmed. Gatiss says he has the pictures to prove it.

Interview with Gatiss about AAISAT. http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2013-11-21/doctor-who-star-makes-surprise-cameo-in-an-adventure-in-space-and-time
I was at class. Is there a place I can watch An Adventure in Space and Time online? D:
http://1923.radiotimes.com/uploads/images/Original/42023.png that look that fucking look stop it tear ducts you don't do this Though on a lighter note, I would love to see footage of Matt whizzing round operating all the old TARDIS consoles like he does with the current. Here's to hoping in the Day of the Doctor.
Can we dedicate this page to Mr William Hartnell?

Damn, now I'm desperate to watch this tomorrow night on BBC America. Be light on the spoilerific stuff guys, please.
http://i.imgur.com/sUYwUAQ.png http://i.imgur.com/LJ2CQ4C.png I'm going to go punch something. How many other people do you think will misinterpret it?
jesus christ how could anyone be that dense
I cried when "I don't want to go". I balled like a baby when [sp] 11 appeared in the TARDIS [/sp] That was beautiful.
Exactly this. I really didn't realise how amazing it would be.
Half an hour into it.. it is beautiful so far
Oh man that was amazing, so well written and very very touching. [sp]Matt Smith[/sp] at the end was a great touch.
Holy shit the actress who acts Susan, very similar, in fact the whole casting is really well done [editline]22nd November 2013[/editline] Just finished watching it. Jesus, that was literallly the best drama I've watched and I've seen quite a bit.. it was perfect. Haven't had something capture me as much as that [editline]22nd November 2013[/editline]
I'm happy with that as a celebration for 50 years. Saturday just feels like a bonus now.
Thought the same thing, actually wouldn't surprise me if this ends up being better than the 50th [editline]22nd November 2013[/editline]
http://i.imgur.com/sUYwUAQ.png http://i.imgur.com/LJ2CQ4C.png I'm going to go punch something. How many other people do you think will misinterpret it?
Why are people interpreting the [SP]11th Doctor[/SP] being there literally? I saw it as a metaphor, that William Hartnell accepted he was being replaced in the role and that based on the success of it, it was the potential that the show would go on for another 50 years, hence we[SP] see the latest Doctor[/SP]. It was that thought in my opinion that made him happy, not seeing [SP]Matt[/SP]
Meanwhile in the land down under they'll be playing Adventures through Time and Space straight after Day of the Doctor. Hmm maybe it's for the better based on what all you guys are saying. [editline]22nd November 2013[/editline] Also, how many Aussies here are ready to wake up around 6/7 o'clock to catch it the same time as our british friends?
Should I feel bad that I find the first ever episode a bit dull? I think the shows lack of development at the time hinders it a bit.
It is a bit of a dull episode, it's only so praised because of what it kicked off. Susan dancing to the radio is pretty cute tho.
wat
Late reply, but here's this. [t]http://puu.sh/5pJ7h.jpg[/t]
Should I feel bad that I find the first ever episode a bit dull? I think the shows lack of development at the time hinders it a bit.
Most consider An Unearthly Child Part 1 to be genius. But the following parts were quite empty. The Daleks (as seen in the show) saved it all. [editline]22nd November 2013[/editline] Smoking Cyberman at the start was gold. Well not gold, he's allergic to gold. I mean it was good.

So uh, I just watched An Adventure in Space and Time. Fucking beautiful.
In light of An Adventure in Space and Time, SFX have pulled out an interview with Lambert and Davies in 2006. Worth a read, especially if you have not read it already :)
I do feel proud that years ago, knowing very little, I started something that is still running…
