Well, I'm turning off my connections to the internet. Don't wanna be spoiled. ... looking at you, Dan.
I accidentally came into the thread again. See you all after the 50th!
Radio 2 now. Doctor Who special hosted by graham norton [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] This Doctor Who special on Radio 2 is good. He's live at the convention now. Just interviewed Moffat who revealed he wishes the episode was going out at the same time as 'An Unearthly Child', he says he might leak it then. He also says Tennant always asks to see pictures of monsters and stuff before they appear on TV. He's stupid excited about Capaldi. They're even playing the odd track from the Who soundtrack ON THE RADIO. It's great.

They're playing songs I don't even remember being in Doctor Who. The interviews are so interesting. Paul McGann said to McCoy he feels like the George Lazenby of Doctor Who. [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] "is this like Christmas for Doctor Who fans?" No Graham, it's so much better than that. I'm listening to a radio show about Doctor Who. Later I'm watching the first ever episode of Doctor Who. Then I'm watching a new episode of Doctor Who. Then I'm watching an after-party for Doctor Who. I love today.
I keep coming into this thread by accident :v:
You'll be fine here. I'm not posting anything spoillery. [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] *Explodes* [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] Fan: "What do you remember about meeting John Pertwee?" Tom Baker: "Nothing at all." Tom Baker: age doesn't matter and no one has ever failed at playing the Doctor He's on the radio now. There was applause when he said "hello".
Love it.
Love it.
"Are you in the episode tonight?" "Absolutely not.. I don't know if they might use some footage of me and put me in.." "I don't know whether to believe you or not" "I don't know whether to believe me or not... I don't know whether to believe YOU or not." Oh Tom.
Woop! Off on the train now so last post for today. Hope everyone enjoys the episode and whatever other DW plans they have! Allons-y/Geronimo!
"There's some high traffic around The Time War Memorial on Orion. Congestion has eased on Karn" - An actual travel report on BBC Radio 2 just now. [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] Moffat and his Nazi agenda! One child at a time.
the Davison interview was nice!
Is anyone really going to watch the 50th at the cinema? I'm not going just because of the fact everyone will be screaming at every moment Tennant is on the screen, any previous reference etc
I'm going to see it at the cinema, but I'll probably watch it again tomorrow on iPlayer in case there was anything I missed.
Is anyone really going to watch the 50th at the cinema?
Urhm - a lot of people. :v: I'll no doubt be watching the BBC One HD recording again tonight.
Is anyone really going to watch the 50th at the cinema? I'm not going just because of the fact everyone will be screaming at every moment Tennant is on the screen, any previous reference etc
I am! I highly doubt those sort of fans would go to the cinema to watch this sort of thing, trust me. The fans at the cinema will be the ones that want to hear what's going on just as much as you.
I'm not going to the cinema purely because I don't care much for 3D or trying to fight for a comfortable cinema seat.
Is anyone really going to watch the 50th at the cinema? I'm not going just because of the fact everyone will be screaming at every moment Tennant is on the screen, any previous reference etc
I would love to go, but I have an assignment due on Tuesday so I'm stuck here. Ironically though, I want time to go by faster and slower.
I'm going with a friend on the 25th, trying hard to resist the urge to watch it earlier.
I'm not going to the cinema purely because I don't care much for 3D or trying to fight for a comfortable cinema seat.
That's mostly why I'm not going, but also because I'd be going alone/can't because I'm going to some street market thing for a few hours and wouldn't make it in time.
Going to the cinema with my bestest friend in the world, he and another friend are coming over for a pre party when my bestie finishes work. I've got fish fingers and custard and The Name of the Doctor ready to go.

Where can I find a better version on this? Found it on Tumblr.
I won't have to fight for a cinema seat because it's 2013 and anybody sat in my reserved seat won't have a good time of it. Just finished Bad Wolf / Parting of the Ways re-watch #2142315126 (<- work it out)
yeah, only plebs go to cinemas that don't have reserved seating are you a pleb?
yeah, only plebs go to cinemas that don't have reserved seating are you a pleb?
yes
yeah, only plebs go to cinemas that don't have reserved seating are you a pleb?
I live in a pleb town. Can't reserve seats :(
I live in a pleb town. Can't reserve seats :(
Yeah the cinema I'm going to for it doesn't allow you to reserve seats, so we're going to be going there early. Probably going to have my phone with me to keep an eye on this thread to see what other things come up.
Hartnell twinkles in the role. Makes those first 4 episodes worth watching. [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] ITV has got itself into the papers today celebrating the 10th Anniversary of The X-Factor. It started in September 2004. How is that 10 years? Desperation, they've suddenly realised this is one ratings war they won't win.
IPlayer probably won't upload the episode until after it's finished so I'll have to wait, like, an extra hour before I can watch it. IS THERE NO JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD?!
