thanks for showing up eccleston
SPOILER: [sp]Capaldi[/sp] [sp]http://i.4cdn.org/tv/src/1385241306405.gif[/sp]
also sherlock returning soon which was the cherry on the cake
I think people in the home were already sick of me screaming during the episode, they probably want to kill me after me seeing that.
I am confused. [sp]Does this mean John Hurt is actually the 9th Doctor?[/sp] Also I loved what they did with Gallifrey, even tho it is retconned. Oh and that scene with Christopher, was that new or taken from an old episode?
I think it's a good time to bring Gallifrey back - adds so many possibilities and fresh story ideas. Loved the Capaldi cameo, brilliant touch.
Why was capaldi not standing with the others then?
seems kinda stupid honestly. moffat was saying shit like "it'll be the 28th doctor and it'll be the same show!" and then all the doctor supposedly show up and there's only 13. like why even include a future doctor if it's not canon that there's only gonna be 13.
Don't think that could've been any more perfect.

Tom Baker was the only past Doctor that showed up besides David Tennant and John Hurt.
i'm not up to date with every single episode of eccleston so was that archival footage of him or was that freshly shot
SPOILER: [sp]Capaldi[/sp] [sp]http://i.4cdn.org/tv/src/1385241306405.gif[/sp]
I was watching with my brother who isn't the biggest Who fan. I watched in silence until that part then I just shouted "HOLY SHIT"
God damn it Tennent, why'd he have to say it. Almost made me shed a tear, almost. Great episode though.
I think it's a good time to bring Gallifrey back - adds so many possibilities and fresh story ideas. Loved the Capaldi cameo, brilliant touch.
Heard a while ago that Series 8 is about The Doctor looking for something.
[sp]So what happened with the people in the Tower of London? Are we supposed to assume they just went and made a fair deal then what? If neither of them knew they were Xylons(sp?) then what would happen after that? How would the Xylons know of the deal? What did they end up doing when both copies of each person had to leave the room? Did one set of them just hide? How did Clara not get her mind wiped as she was in the room at the same time?[/sp]
all past doctor scenes besides 10th, 11th and Hurt were all salvaged into it. Also if you go here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Baker#Television you will see that they stated that he is a future doctor.
Certainly a neat episode, that. I think we also got a peek at Doctor Twelve during that [sp]multi-TARDIS sequence[/sp], and I think we all recognise that face; even the half we saw is memorable. Last time we saw that face, a government official spared his children from a horrific future, and a Roman family was spared from the ashes of Vesuvius. Still, [sp]trapping an entire planet inside a painting does seem kinda outlandish, though then again it took 13 TARDISes to do it, being that the heart of a TARDIS is a very powerful thing, so the required power to do such a thing would probably be feasible. Then again, we're talking about putting an entire planet inside a pocket universe, frozen in time for eternity;[/sp] it's the kinda stuff that makes quantum entanglement and false vacuum collapse look like potato batteries and baking soda volcanoes. Also, Trenzalore's coming at Christmas, judging by the end bit.

Best episode ever
After thinking about it some more, i don't really think that was too good an episode storywise. [sp] The Zygon plot was just solved offscreen without any real mention and wasn't actually needed, UNIT was kinda pointless as well and didn't really do anything at all, the scenes of the Timewar were disappointing and the one dark moment of the Doctor has now been completely retconned. Every time in an episode where the Time war has been mentioned is now meaningless. [/sp] They ruined all the Mystery. For example, this whole scene is completely irrelevant now: Instead, it's an "Everybody lives!" now (Except the Daleks). It seems like the only thing this latest episode good was the constant references to the previous Doctors.
full of spoiler shit
could you spoiler that? god
Damn that was a great episode! I loved the ending.
I thought he is the 13th, considering they now consider him a doctor.
Ah yes, of course; forgot about that. Hurt's between Paul and Chris, judging by the Night of the Doctor minisode with Paul in it.
After thinking about it some more ....]
It's alright, the doctor is being genuine, he doesn't know he actually saved the day so for him it's still the darkest day for him at that point.
Why are you guys so against an "Everybody lives!" ending? It's not really a copout as everything basically stays the same, and it opens up potential for a much fresher plot.

[sp]Also since in the episode they give him the right to the title again?[/sp]
