Colin Baker had shit in his face but he kept eating cake. This is the problem, Colin.
I'm hungry now
A friend of mine also made a TARDIS themed cake for the anniversary
[sp]But didn't the Emperor Dalek go mad because he escaped through the time lock or something? If there was no time lock how did this happen? :v:[/sp]
Because when he said it, it was the dalek emperor on the 9th Doctor's timeline. If the Doctor has forgotten what's happened, that's a thing that applies to anyone who was involved during that moment, right? Minus the 11th and Clara?
Did You Know Gaming did an episode on Doctor Who references in Video Games
Coincidentally this is also their 50th video.
What is the fiveish doctors?
A short-film made by Peter Davison about the Classic Doctors trying to get involved in the episode. There's a scene they phone Moffat and he tells them to go away. He then starts playing with his 10th and 11th Doctor action figures.
It was still Timelocked. Just Gallifrey wasn't destroyed. The Daleks were. It was Dalek Caan not The Emperor by the way!
Nevermind, better explanation I overthought it haha
People need to remember that the war doctor FORGETS what happens and still believes he killed off his own people... because his timeline still remains the same, it doesn't alter. The only point his timeline changes is when he is the 11th Doctor at THAT moment.
It's something that should have never been shown. It should of always been a mystery, for this exact reason. It's been shown, and it turned out to be a complete disappointment - one of the most important events for the Doctor never really happened. That he still thinks it happened only makes it worse. It's as if they just shoved an "Everybody lives!" in because it's not like we should actually have the Doctor actually do anything bad, right?

But it's yet to come. I don't want to spoil it to be honest. It doesn't ruin everything. Because they live, but he never knows and it tortures him.
Is there someplace where we Americans can watch the afterparty? They aired The End of Time parts 1 and 2 on BBC America as soon as the special ended.

The only point his timeline changes is when he is the 11th Doctor at THAT moment.
Never quoted myself before but yeah, to make sense of things.. according to the war doctor/9th/10th, Gallifrey falls and the moment was used. That's WHAT happens, because it has to or the 11th Doctor has no motive whatsoever to be apart of this story, he has no reason to be there. This is why the previous doctors have to forget or it causes a paradox. It's only on the 11th Doctor's timeline things change (i.e Gallifrey lives) which means the events of "The End of Time" still make sense, because the moment had been used/gallifrey fell as it's on the 10th Doctor's timeline. Everything about the time war still happens until the 11th Doctor changes it on his timeline, just see the previous Doctor's as "anomalies" who helped him. I hope that makes sense.
You don't get it do you? They didn't throw it out, in fact they've only opened up more story possibilities. The entire point was that, even in his darkest moment, The Doctor still kept the promise he made when took that name. To everyone else, Gallifrey was destroyed. He still becomes who he was.
This might've already been responded to, but now they've made the doctor into this paragon of justice, rather than a flawed character trying to redeem himself. I just think it cheapens his character is all, Think Superman vs. [almost any other superhero].
five(ish) doctors coming out soon?
Is there someplace where we Americans can watch the afterparty? They aired The End of Time parts 1 and 2 on BBC America as soon as the special ended.
You really don't want to, it was a fucking train wreck.

This disappointment in himself drove him. In fact I thought it was a better ending them him just killing them all because of that. He never let himself down. He only thinks he did.
five(ish) doctors coming out soon?
I think it was already on Red Button. Peter wants to get it online. [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline]
You really don't want to, it was a fucking train wreck.
Every must see the afterparty. Specially the bit where One Direction got fucked over by time itself. Like the ghost of the late great William Hartnell himself was objecting to that travesty.
