Was rooting through my dropbox folder and found this old scene: Seriously love the eyes when she says "Now go and have coffee" Also it seems to play twice, the second time without sound, seems to be a bug with the uploading. I got bored so I made Gallifrey with surrounding moons, planets and stars in Universe Sandbox, based on Tardis Data Core information. It crashed, though, so I never got to add the other 2 planets. And it actually worked, as well. Orbits worked like they should, the planet was habitable despite the two suns. [t]http://i.imgur.com/aIr6E7S.jpg[/t]
Thanks everyone who turned up and made the stream fun, I'll definitely be making it a regular thing. Props if you were there since The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon. I streamed all of S6, then Love and Monsters and Blink.
Was awesome, thanks a lot! Forgot how hilarious L&M was
He already left a guy in a ship that got hit by a rocket in the dinosaur one.
he also threw a ball at a button and the big bad fell to earth. This was different, he didn't correct they lady that saved her when being called a monster which I can see as a good plot point. However, she was a culprit that full well knew plans of converting people to some grand new genesis. A cop out in writing sometimes is that regardless of change in character that person dies as a way to avoid dealing with them going through some sort of punishment process. There has been times where that person survives, and becomes the villain in a new story or on the path of redemption if they were shown the correct path by being shown that their previous ways were wrong. Instead we see a scene where the sontaran "misses" the old lady and it just happens to have her fall to death, I'll just puff my mouth open implying there's no blood on my hands and no regrets here. Then with the usual speech of "I'll send it to a safe place", you find the blind madam murder the thing, you don't hear the doctor who, "no wait, stop, vengeance or murder is not the answer, what have you done", instead, "ahhh what ya gonna do, possibly conducting genocide due to not knowing it's the last of it's kind and putting a dark piece into your soul you're never going to remove". So at the end the doctor gives her a warm goodbye sending her off not acknowledging, "hey you might want to have someone look after you so you don't become cold hearted like your mother and create a problem, cause I've let myself go to be with someone I care about take care of be who killed daleks in one go". there are just gaps in this that hurt it being a lastingly good doctor who episode, it's almost as bad as the morals in the two doctors. Yes the doctor has his flaws and being vindictive can be one of them, however it wasn't there were it should be.
cause I've let myself go to be with someone I care about take care of be who killed daleks in one go
Wait what
Wait what
I guess he never really went far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.
Cultbox Spoiler-Free Review:
'Nightmare' will be (perhaps unfairly) judged in a similar way, by the twin hopes of what a Cybermen story should be, and the high-quality fans demand from a Gaiman-written episode. In both categories of judgement it comes up lacking.
3/5 Full Link
So "still good but not living up to what it might (unfairly) should be"? Can't complain.
I guess he never really went far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.
sometimes my brain gets grammar scrambled, I will fix it later but it's 4 am for me right now. what I was referring to when the doctor donna emerged with a human doctor being created which decided to kill the daleks. Because he had the taste for blood the doctor left his human counterpart with rose. That seemed like what the doctor who do, though 10 does not = 11 Mat smith's doctor has still carried the judgement more or less.
Just watching an clip from Doomsday, it has one of the best scenes I've ever seen. DALEK THAY: Identify yourselves. CYBERMEN: You will identify first. DALEK THAY: State your identity. CYBERMEN: You will identify first. DALEK THAY: Identify! CYBERMEN: ... illogical, you will modify. DALEK THAY: Daleks do not take orders. CYBERMEN: You have identified as Daleks. Then later: CYBERMAN: Our species our similar, though your design is inelegant. DALEK THAY: Daleks have no concept of elegance. CYBERMEN: This is obvious. and of course: CYBERMAN: Daleks, be warned: you have declared war upon the Cybermen. DALEK SEK: This is not war. This is pest control. CYBERMAN: We have five million Cybermen. How many are you? DALEK SEK: Four. CYBERMAN: You would destroy the Cybermen with FOUR Daleks?! DALEK SEK: We would destroy the Cybermen with ONE Dalek. You are superior in only one respect. CYBERMAN: What is that? DALEK SEK: You are better at dying. Sorry for the formatting, this was hastily copied from a script.
They're like the two bitchiest genocidal cyborg races in the galaxy.
