Day of the Doctor 3D was amazing and it was a great experience watching it in a cinema packed with real fans.
Five-ish Doctors though - that's so funny and daft. I thought it was truly in the spirit of classic Who with so much mischief, humour and silliness. Loved all the appearances [sp]Paul McGann played his bit brilliantly[/sp], the in-jokes and seeing the triumph of our heroes at the end. [sp]Sir Ian McKellen's response to Peter Jackson was so beautifully timed, so funny[/sp]
Anyone who thinks a storyline and its characters should make sense.

The complaints were about the Zygon plot and one single line. [sp]Does it matter 10 didn't investigate the Bad Wolf thing further? No. Was the Zygon plot fun, even though it went nowhere? Yes.[/sp] So why keep on complaining instead, for one day, just appreciating the good things, because this special was filled with many.

[sp]The man who believed his chance had passed him by... INCLUDED IN THE 50TH![/sp]
I'm so happy... and that's just for that split second.
Have you guys checked Xandercoms posts about the 50th? He's completly done after that 50th anniversary episode, nothing but bitching and moaning. https://www.facebook.com/neonvisual

Today gets better.

He has a point. People in the comments are trying to counter argue that the plot can't possibly be confused because 'There are more doctors than ever!'. Which is the mark of a successful storyline apparently.
What's the name of the large thing I just missed(and is it online anywhere), showing Peter Capaldi at the end? I've seen a screen cap of the upper part of his face all over the web.

He's comparing it to a deus ex machina. Which is somewhat incorrect.

Looks like those rumors were right.
Also, how come [sp] three Doctors barely causes a hiccup in the Tardis, yet two Amy Ponds nearly destroyed the universe? (I might've missed the explanation on this one.) [/sp]
"The Doctor Lies"
[sp]It's heavily implied in that episode that actually it all would have been perfectly fine (after all, River Song's entire life) but the Doctor didn't want Amy to actually live out that timeline[/sp]
Den of Geek Review:
There's certainly a lot to ponder then, and The Day Of The Doctor is already an episode that's clearly going to reward multiple viewings. But that's not just because of the little touches and details laden within it. Primarily, it's because it's an strong, ambitious episode of Doctor Who. Moffat when he's on top form writing Who blends comedy and narrative expertly, and this was one of his better adventures.
A little piece of the Doctor Who universe has been slotted back in to place. Not in a harmful way, either.
[sp]How could Gallifrey be saved and yet not come with the baggage of bringing back the Time Lords?[/sp]
Enter The Day of The Doctor. At least, it's that way for now. Who knows what this new direction will bring. But I'm excited to find out!
The Tom Baker scene is so funny.
It's just Tom Baker being The Fourth Doctor and himself at the same time. Perfectly.

umm wasn't it only 13

I was hoping he was going to give 11 a bag of jelly babies.
umm wasn't it only 13
Isn't that more than 12?
I just checked the BBC News website, and, oh wow
breaking news guys
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-25070847
Me and all my mates went to see it in the cinema and loved it. I brought a pack of jelly babies with me because you need appropriate snacking food but I thought I'd finished them about half way through. When Baker appeared I decided to check my bag one last time and gods be praised there was one right there. It was perfect.

Bad wording on my part. 12 including those 3 Doctors.
Kinda sad that Eccleston is nowhere to be found anywhere around the 50th anniversary. I loved that guy.
[sp]The Doctors had more than 12 helping move Gallifrey[/sp]
I think you may have quoted the wrong person.
Not that it is likely, [sp]but could there be more incarnations between Hurt and Eccleston? Most likely not, but it was not 100% clear that Hurt regenerates into Eccleston.[/sp]
"Calling the War Council of Gallifrey! This is The Doctor!"
Guess The Doctor who had that line.

Nope. [sp] It's pretty clear that Hurt is regenerating into Eccleston. You can see features of his face. [/sp]
I think you may have quoted the wrong person.
Like I said bad wording on my part. I'm pretty sure he's talking about missing Capaldi appearing while all the TARDIS' are coming to Gallifrey. That is unless I'm being stupid and can't read.
Didn't Tennant throw away his old screwdriver in the episode where he meets martha jones?

The software is the same underneath.

Hurt admitted he was asked to play The Doctor a week before filming.
Hurt Doctor was The 9th Doctor in the original script. As originally expected. Seemingly had his lines reworked a bit.
Picture that TARDIS scene. "Geronimoooo", "Alons-y", "FANTASTIC".
[sp]So Gallifrey is stuck in a single moment locked away from the rest of the universe, and it is possible to bring it back, just like it was done in 10's last special.[/sp] Is it just me or did exactly nothing change?
[sp]So Gallifrey is stuck in a single moment locked away from the rest of the universe, and it is possible to bring it back, just like it was done in 10's last special.[/sp] Is it just me or did exactly nothing change?
No shit sherlock, that's the entire point. Nothing changed at all EXCEPT FROM THE 11th DOCTOR'S VIEWPOINT. 9 and 10 still think they sentenced the Time Lords to death. Only 11 remembers that it's not the case.

Eh. I heard a while back that Series 8 is about The Doctor [sp]looking for something. Gallifrey is out there somewhere. They just don't know where.[/sp]
