I might not forget my best friend's face, and maybe one day I'll revisit him or her and see him again - because he or she is an old favourite.
It's supposed to be mysterious and stuff. Hell, it might even be explained when Capaldi being both in Torchwood and Doctor Who twice is - but whatever happens the Curator is not the Doctor. It's not breaking the fourth wall, but it's certainly touching it.

Just use Hola Better Internet and watch it from the iplayer, the TV Licence vans can't fly to america.
