My favourite part of that sequence [sp]is when 7 makes a mess of things, de materializes, then returns years later to try again with an older look and new clothes[/sp]

I didn't even notice that ahaha.
In the fiveish doctors, where was Carole Ann Ford? I didn't see her at all.

I think she was one of the companions floating around while Moffat was dreaming.
Who was Barrowman married to? I remember recognising them but could actually put a name to them. Now I've forgot what they look like and can't be bothered to watch again.
Oh, by the way. So we have this scene:

And when the camera angle changes:

So what, did the TARDIS land on the First Doctor or something?
I didn't really like it.
It had awesome moments, really really awesome moments, but some stuff just killed it for me.
yeah, I didn't like the place of the first Doctor - why can't he just be in line with the others?

5 either side, the original standing apart. Mr. Hartnell does as he likes!
Shoulda added Capaldi then. Would have been an amazing reveal of his costume, to end off the 50th. :v:
Capaldi is being hailed as the best Modern Doctor - just by the intensity of that one shot :v:
Was really good, hate the fact Moffat just decided to write in an all new unheard of Doctor because Eccleston declined. We had a Doctor who was willing to do it, shame Moffat opted for star power instead.
So when did Capaldi show up again?

I'm not sure. I kind of like the fact that Eight avoided the war. He made the final decision to become a warrior - but as a last resort.
He remains "one of the nice ones."

... wait, isn't Barrowman gay?

It was really good though :v:
Someone needs to re-do the episode and replace John Hurt with a picture of Christopher's body and have those horrible walking things when it is them just slanting the picture side to side.
... wait, isn't Barrowman gay?
That was the joke.
Barrowman has a secret family. The past Doctors discover this and he agrees to drive them to Wales. Sings show tunes the whole way. When they get to Wales he gives them his albums and DVDs.

It wouldn't have worked with McGann. It goes against his whole character.
I don't think we would've got a McGann mini-episode if Chris did it. As there would be no need to introduce us to a new Doctor. the Mcgann-Chris regeneration could've been done in episode.
So Chris saying no is probably the reason we got more McGann.

It's a nice story yeah, that 8 would rather die than have anything to do with contributing to the horrors of the war.
I don't know, just seems like a wasted opportunity. One of the most peaceful and 'nice' Doctors twisted into becoming a dark warrior himself by the time war could really emphasise just how terrible it was.
I liked Hurt's performance, he was a good Doctor, I just wish Moffat had done something else.
[sp]dat Tom Baker tho[/sp]

They probably haven't decided on it yet.
The only filming they'd have done with him will be the end of the Christmas special, with him in Matt's costume (which, judging from the teaser trailer, looks to be the slightly different one he wore in The Snowmen).
Moffat says that historically the costume is put together at the very last minute.
Capaldi has gone shopping though and got something, he chose it himself. That was after the 50th filming so he didn't have it at the time.
So when did Capaldi show up again?
When all the Tardis' were moving Gallifrey.

So what has been you guys favorite part of the 50th? We've had An Adventure in Space in Time, The Night of The Doctor, The Day of the Doctor, The Five(ish) Doctors and Light at the End along with some other comics and books that no one really paid attention to.
Day of the Doctor. Specifically: Capaldi.
The whole episode was obviously amazing. But those eyes. Acting.
Day of the Doctor: All Thirteen
It's just the biggest fan-serving sequence for both Classic and Modern Who. Exactly what was needed in the climax of the 50th.
Then comes that final scene to give the Whoniverse a great big shot in the arm.
Capaldi: So, what's my motivation for this scene?
Director: There really isn't one, we just need you to, like, throw a switch and stare at the camera.
Capaldi: But I need to know exactly how to stare at the camera. Am I menacing, hopeful, wise, bitter, overjoyed, what? I can't look at the camera for .5 of a second without some direction!
Director: Okay, you're the thirteenth incarnation of The Doctor, who at this point in time has come together with all of your past selves in order to protect your homeworld from the threat of alien invasion and certain destruction. This is a road you've been down in the past, but this time you're going to see it through differently. You can't let it happen again, which is why you're crossing your own time stream in such a way that threatens your own existence, but it's worth doing in the name of your people, and so that your past self that was essentially wiped from your memory may once again act in the name of The Doctor.
Capaldi: Better.

"This looks shoppped" quality aside, they could've done a bit more attention to detail with the Doctor body doubles. Chris never really did the pocket thing and it makes his jacket look weird, McCoy is missing his scarf and umbrellia, Colin Baker's hand pose doesn't seem right and could've been something more boastful, Tom Baker's hat doesn't really go with that era of costume, and McGann could've done something like he was doing in the old promo shots.

I just noticed Four and his goofy-ass grin.
The only thing I didn't like about this scene is that [sp]Peter Capaldi didn't make a second appearance.[/sp]
