I hope the christmas special will be an hour of The Doctor and Clara eating christmas dinner. The Doctor then chokes on a sprout and regenerates into Capaldi.
Also, somebody explain to me what sandshoes are and why they make fun of 10 for wearing them. I think it might be a British term and I'm a silly uneducated American. :v:

Oh. I do actually know what those are. I'm not that uneducated!
The people know what they want
Look out Lionsgate, BBC America‘s after a slice of your box office glory. The network scored a per-screen average of $13,607 on Saturday with its Doctor Who: The Day Of The Doctor REALD 3D screening event, besting The Hunger Games: Catching Fire‘s $12,300 average in the U.S. according to Rentrak (Catching Fire opened on 4,163 screens last weekend on its way to a $307M global take on the weekend, compared to Doctor Who‘s limited 11-screen run.) NCM Fathom Events will screen the Day Of The Doctor 3D again tonight in 650 theatres nationwide.
[editline]26th November 2013[/editline]
Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor was Saturday's top cable program in the US with a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating.
really bugs me that the doctor never bothered to get angry at that unit bitch for trying to steal his tardis, even before it was known she was a zygon. And what kind of excuse is "we found your tardis, we're having it brought in."

Though I'd have found it funnier if The Doctor had been taking a piss in the bushes or something when the helicopter picked up the TARDIS, and you just saw him chasing it down the road while trying to do up his fly :v:
Now that I think about it more, there were a couple things that the 50th didn't answer. [sp]How did all 13 incarnations of the doctor show up to gallifrey if the whole time war was timelocked?[/sp] [sp]Does Clara still have Jack's vortex manipulator? She never gave it back, after all.[/sp] [sp]What happened to the moment? Did they just leave a sentient weapon of mass destruction in a shack on that sandy planet?[/sp] I apologize if any of these were already answered, I didn't see them.

fan love.... 3:30
looking at the lovely "absolutely fantastic" intro i just realized that the tardis has amazing brakes when the vortex goes from blue to red. it stops and immediately goes back the other way

Hollywood.
Hollywood.
It was made in Canada. That is if we're talking about the 8th doctor movie
Hey, do you guys know what time it is? It's time to watch The Day of the Doctor for the ninth time.
I got inspired to make this EDIT: BBC didn't like it on youtube, https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/46211672/FantasticWho.mp4
The opening titles alone had me giggling like a motherfucker. This should've been how Nine was really introduced. [editline]26th November 2013[/editline] why is eccleston so funny help me [editline]26th November 2013[/editline]
Now that I think about it more, there were a couple things that the 50th didn't answer. [sp]The special reveals that it was never truly timelocked. Gallifrey was just frozen and warped to another universe while almost all of the Daleks accidentally'd themselves in a massive bout of friendly fire.[/sp] 2. [sp]I guess it's possible. Maybe we'll get to see her use it some more in the Christmas special.[/sp] 3. [sp]I think Eleven either took it or left it on the planet. I don't remember.[/sp]
it was timelocked, it's what sent dalek caan insane - the moment let them through
The people know what they want
Nicely done.
Can't put my finger on it but I loved the feel of the first two series, must have been the way they filmed it
The Time Lord has conquered the box office. A special nationwide 3D screening of the Doctor Who 50th anniversary TV special “Day of the Doctor” grossed a stunning $4.8 million at the U.S. box office. What makes this particularly impressive: That’s from one night. “Day of the Doctor” screened in 660 theaters as a one-night-only special event Monday and averaged $7,155 per location, with 320,000 tickets sold. Granted, the tix were $15 a pop, so that certainly helped. In fact, the BBC’s cult favorite show was the No. 2 movie in America on Monday, behind only The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Its gross is nearly as much as The Wizard of Oz in 3D made during its entire run earlier this year ($5.5 million). And more than indie fav Much Ado About Nothing ($4.3 million) or bomb The Fifth Estate ($3.3 million).
UK figures up to 12.3m
Dr Who Legacy is out for iOS
So I've made myself a new avatar.
Dr Who Legacy is out for iOS
Any good?
Love the odd reference to the past.
This is freaking awesome. I bet there's a lot of that in the new series. but because i never watched the old, i'll never know.
The Sun has posted the entire plot of the Christmas Special. Good job guys! /Sarcasm Moffat sent an angry email around today. Properly angry. Too many leaks in the last year. Started with Hurt, McGann Episode leak was irritating, papers leaking that Tom Baker was in DOTD, now the entire Christmas plot in a tabloid paper. Also a returning character for Series 8 has got out, which has also pissed him off a fair bit. Also, at the convention Tom apparently dropped a very ominous hint that he'll be gone before Series 8 starts. [editline]27th November 2013[/editline] Joined a Doctor Who forum. Somebody just PM'd me (no idea who they are) telling me that they're being bullied at school because of a health condition. They feel sad. Why am I getting brought into this? Doctor Who fans can be odd.
So I've made myself a new avatar.
Ditto!
Any good?
It's the typical match-3 puzzle affair tied together with a flimsy plot but it's pretty fun from the few hours I've played so far
I wish in that lost shot of all 12 Doctors that there was a bit of interaction. Like one looks at another and smiles, or one puts his arm round the other with joy, or two share a joke together. A bit of movement would've been nice, maybe one eating a bag of jelly babies. It just seems like a waste to get the body doubles in costume and use them as cardboard cut outs.
