Christopher Eccleston's Doctor was my childhood hero. I would be down for "The Five Doctors" in 2015: Chris, Tennant, Smith, Capaldi. I know it's very soon but I really want to see Chris, Tennant, Smith, and Capaldi interact while they still look like they did when they were in the roles. In 25 years (75th anniversary), Capaldi will be the same age as Tom Baker so probably won't look at all the same or be able to do as much, Tennant will be getting on a fair bit and won't be able to play the Tenth Doctor anywhere close to how he once did. Chris will be in a similar place to Capaldi. 11 won't feel like an old man in a young man's body when he's 56. I feel 2015 is the last chance for a perfect Multi-Doctor. Without anybody looking too aged. [editline]28th November 2013[/editline] Just hit me. We'll probably never see any of the current living Doctors as The Doctor ever again.
4 doctors and captain jack would be nice.
It would still make sense to see Captain Jack again right? Since he is kinda immortal and all, unless i missed a bit.
4 Doctors, each with their most iconic companion: 9 & Rose 10 & Wilf 11 & The Ponds 12 & His current/Clara Also Jack, River and Kate Stewart. In a story set in 2005. Would be a good 10 year celebration. [editline]28th November 2013[/editline]
It would still make sense to see Captain Jack again right? Within the next 25 years chances are we'll have the technology to remake all the Doctors very realistically with some insane CGI at the rate we're going at.

All of that sounds good Dan except River. I kinda hope we never see her again.
I don't want to see River again, but I do want to find out how/why/when she gets told his name.
All of that sounds good Dan except River. I kinda hope we never see her again.
I don't mind River as long as she isn't the "Sexy gun shooting River" and we get the portrayal of River we got in the Library episodes.

Bit of a contradiction in the 50th, the war doctor goes on about the sonic not being a weapon yet all 3 use it against a Dalek?
Bit of a contradiction in the 50th, the war doctor goes on about the sonic not being a weapon yet all 3 use it against a Dalek?
it wasn't a real dalek it was a painting dalek
But weren't those paintings essentially time locked portions of time?
yeah but the dalek is a piece of machinery so it would affect it probably more so than pointing a sonic screwdriver at an actual person would
I think it was more to get out of the painting.
Ah yeah fair enough, that makes sense
The Day of The Doctor Ratings +5 Days: 12.659m So close to the #2 broadcast of the year.
The Day of The Doctor Ratings +5 Days: 12.659m So close to the #2 broadcast of the year.
It'd probably be if everyone who went to see it at the cinema saw it at home instead. Remember the viewing figures for the cinema release were enormous.

Some guy on Gallifrey Base who nobody knows to trust or not, reckons Series 8 will be 6 two-parters. Sounds too good to be true really.
I know I wouldn't trust him.
I really fucking hope that two parters make a comeback, some stories feel too rushed as a single 45 minute episode.
6 two parters would be like shit the bed exciting
