I really fucking hope that two parters make a comeback, some stories feel too rushed as a single 45 minute episode.
It was a mad idea to ever get rid of such an iconic part of the show. The music sting kicking in after some "holy shit" cliffhanger.
But even death has been drastically toned down. Those poor Daleks haven't killed anything in ages.
Let's hope all of that changes at Christmas/next year!

If you look REALLY closely you can see the move a tiny tiny bit.
I realised what I want is really a gentle breeze. Just to make their coats and capes blow gently. Because Pertwee and McCoy look like they've been photoshopped in.
2 moving his hands around was a good call.
I still really hate that last bit of out-of-place dramatic music.
Infact, I hate how Murray pretty much didn't compose any new music for the 50th anniversary.

I'm not entirely sure that's his fault.

So wait. The Doctor eventually retires and returns to old faces? or is he pulling his leg and if so, then who is he really?
It this is all true and the whole hullabaloo about max 13 regens is true, then this timeline will be in jeopardy when, inevitably, something gets in the way of Capaldi getting himself a few more. I missed that. Events being able to change.

I read a little article suggesting it was The Moment.

It works, but, meh. I like the idea of it actually being the Doctor.

Well there was a fair bit of the weapon using the tardis. That could be a collaboration. Now the question is, did the doctors really change their history, or was it always so. I just rewatched the episode and paid close attention to the visual signals along with the lines. I'd suggest that people that think there are plotholes take another gander at the whole thing. There aren't any that obstruct the chain of events.

The doctor is the moment And
the moment is the white guardian,
the time lords created the moment and
the white guardian is the personal of good while black is evil.
Therefore the doctor is god.
Actually I have my own idea how the script used to go but I'll wait until I'm certain my idea seems
plausible to me.
Is Torchwood worth watching? I'm bored and need something to watch.

RTD's work is no where near as good as what he wrote in doctor who, though the children series is his best.
don't listen to them, embrace the Harkness

Well, I guess everyone needs some sexed up aliens.

Children of Earth was superb
WITH PETER CAPALDI

Looking forward to seeing how they're going to tie up Capaldi being in that and the volcano episode.
Maybe he just chooses the face as one he likes. Time Lords have done it plenty of times before.
A reliable spoiler guy:
Series of 2 parters are definitely being planned. There was also discussion at the end last year for 7 x 90min stories.
Doesn't say if it's Series 8 or a plan for Series 9
Doesn't say if it's Series 8 or a plan for Series 9
or both
(I doubt they'd actually be discussing series 9 right now though, and Moffat has already said it's gonna be somewhere around 12 - 13 episodes this year somewhere - but two parters returning in both series 8 and series 9? That could happen.)
or both
It would be too good.

Christopher Eccleston has joined Twitter (official according to his friends, directors, and journalists)
https://twitter.com/CEccleston64
Also he says he watched The Five(ish) Doctors and loved it.
Wonder if he regrets denying the 50th,
[editline]30th November 2013[/editline]
His first tweet was a Birthday wish to Karen Gillan.
And people say he hates Doctor Who.
[editline]30th November 2013[/editline]
Nevermind- it's a fake. A Fantastic Fake which somehow tricked all his friends.
His colour scheme (fake or not) on Twitter is horrible. You can hardly see the yellow text. :v:
His colour scheme on Twitter is horrible haha. You can hardly see the yellow text. :v:
I wish it was real.
The Doctor Who love for a show he doesn't watch, ending sentences with "haha", and the piss poor colour scheme should've been a giveaway.
I don't get it.

The Hurt-Doctor seemingly visited the planet described by The First Doctor in the second episode.
