In case it hasn't been mentioned yet, Peter Capaldi is on BBC One at 10.30 tonight in an arts programme about Machiavelli
and he's got longer hair than he usually has, which he had before the christmas episode filmed, so he's got the look of his doctor down it seems

I would. It would be a massive continuity error. It seems at this point that he grew it out for the role. Looks fucking excellent I must say. Very Doctorish. Looks like he could be slightly mad

I follow a LOT of Peter Capaldi blogs on Tumblr :dance:
I don't even know how I started using Tumblr. It's just a website which is essentially a scroll bar which gives you more pictures. But it's addictive.

The best christmas special so far is still the Michael Gambon one. Ripping off good old chrismas stories always works!
The documentary was pretty good by the way. Interesting stuff.
Capaldi was only in it to recite lines from the book, but you could tell he was basically practising his Doctor style.

Wonder if he's gonna borrow traits from the Tennant doctor. He has a bit of that grumpy, no bullshit streak that seems to be what Capaldi is always typecast for. I started smiling when Ten went "400 years! That's all it took!" because it's the kind of anger we haven't seen for all of 11s run and it was kind of common fare for 10.
Which just makes it even more funny that everyone thinks of him as one of the more lenient, positive doctors. On further thought, 10s anger was always of the "i expected better!" variant. 12 could be "you bloody well fucking do better!"
