guys guys guys big spoiler [sp]http://puu.sh/5CRuN.jpg[/sp] what's that look like
[sp]its the sonic cane from lets kill hitler capaldi could rock a cane[/sp]
also, what if the doctor is that cyberman?
What do you mean?
guys guys guys big spoiler [sp]http://puu.sh/5CRuN.jpg[/sp] what's that look like
Random speculation on above image - [sp]The Silents don't look very aggressive here. Could they possibly be allies in the episode? Maybe they're giving up because they've failed at stopping him reaching Trenzalore? They don't see him as a threat until after this episode? Trenzalore is their home planet? Oh fuck What if Silents are fucking "Santa Claus"...? Post hypnotic suggestion forcing workers to make toys. Uses the time ship thing from Lodger/DotM to easily deliver presents in one night. If anyone sees them they instantly forget seeing "Santa Claus" but can be made to think that they've seen a jolly guy with a big red coat and bushy white beard. The Doctor's regeneration destroys Santa's home planet and all his "enemies" are trying to save Christmas[/sp]
is it just me or does the head in that pic not look like smiths [editline]5th December 2013[/editline]
What do you mean? [sp]doesn't look like capaldi to me at all, just matt's wig being bad[/sp] Also, on an unrelated note to the spoiler, with the curator being the doctor theory - why would the eleventh doctor think he's going to die? If he's seen the future he knows he won't die. I never liked the theory anyway.
He doesn't know that The Curator is a future version of himself. It's alluded to, but not confirmed. Other theories suggest that The Curator is the moment, or the TARDIS, or some sort of combination of both. Of course, it was basically just Tom Baker being himself (that was why the part was written, as a sort of 'farewell and good luck' from Tom), but they had to fit it into the narrative somehow.
because it's trenzalore and he dies on trenzalore he saw the tardis
yeah but if he dies, how would there be a future doctor?
He also presumably saw Capaldi arrive at Gallifrey. But "time can be rewritten" has fucked the continuity of the show more than ever.
He just saw another TARDIS, could have easily been a past Doctor showing up twice (I mean the 7th Doctor did :v:)
He also presumably saw Capaldi arrive at Gallifrey. But "time can be rewritten" has fucked the continuity of the show more than ever.
I really hope Capaldi's first season is about looking for Gallifrey. Also by the cyberman thing I mean, maybe that's how he dies? it's a very silly idea :v: [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] OR THE DOCTOR CREATED THE SILENCE TO STOP HIM COMING TO TRENZALORE OH MY GOD i'm going to sleep
OR THE DOCTOR CREATED THE SILENCE TO STOP HIM COMING TO TRENZALORE OH MY GOD i'm going to sleep
...my word
(I mean the 7th Doctor did :v:)
what :v
So there is a wooden cyberman because the sonic screwdriver doesn't work on wood.
what :v
They used 7th Doctor clips from both a younger and slightly older version of himself and someone made a joke that first time he messed up and then came back after a few years to try again.
They used 7th Doctor clips from both a younger and slightly older version of himself and someone made a joke that first time he messed up and then came back after a few years to try again.
Grizz did. It's head-canon now. [editline]5th December 2013[/editline] I've got to say, from everything heard about this episode: it seems like a wonderfully fitting end for Eleven. It will have plenty for us to discuss and dream about until Series 8. The Doctor is older than he's even been in series 8, in more ways than one. There's a wonderful set up for bringing Matt back in 2063 (or any other anniversary) which is probably quite intentional and quite genius. Really, it's going to be an amazing episode. Even though the plot is leaked, there's loads of little moments (like the shot of Matt looking Pertwee-esque) that nobody knows about and will be wonderful. I believe this will be as good as The Eleventh Hour was for introductory episodes.
dan, dont be a prick shooting down speculation like that is spoilers. stop spoiling everyone.
dan, dont be a prick shooting down speculation like that is spoilers. stop spoiling everyone.
For you to call me a prick it must've been pretty bad, so I fixed it for you. [editline]5th December 2013[/editline]
Although there is an awkwardly told story to give context to what’s going on (complete with strange third person descriptions of events, as if you’re playing a choose your own adventure book) what the gameplay basically amounts to is the Doctor and his companions brutally murdering every enemy they come across. The game doesn’t actually say they’re dead but you are specifically described as attacking them and causing them damage, so it’s hard to see what else is supposed to be going on. And besides, even if they’re just being knocked out the Doctor isn’t exactly know for bludgeoning his opponents into a state of unconsciousness.
A review of Doctor Who: Legacy that put amusing images in my mind
it's very bizarre i still haven't found 9 and his fantastic attack where all the enemies become fantastic like him
I'm sure it will be awesome. I (almost) trust Moffat to deliver a fitting ending to 11. So glad we got him. I would love to hear that final track again.
When Hurt's hand started glowing I thought "OH MY GOD, MAYBE CHRIS IS ACTUALLY IN IT". I like the ending. "Fantastic". But it doesn't look very good, so I can see why they only showed his eyes and jaw changing.
Thought this was interesting.

Dunno about the sudden jump 2005 vortex, though.

"i don't wanna go" is now some kind of symbolic trinity? Why did they reuse that twice for the 50th and Adventure?
because muh feels
