I feel like I missed a detail, but how come the Doctor can't visit Amy and Rory? I mean, sure, he can't bring them anywhere. I'll agree on that. And he can't land in New York, fine. But couldn't he land outside the city and meet them in that time if he, I dunno, took a cab into the actual city and street they lived at? Or would that destroy the universe as well? :v: [editline]9th December 2013[/editline] Or even better, couldn't they send letters to eachother and keep in contact like that? :v: Sending photos and stuff? And if that doesn't work, pull a back to the future and have the Doctor sending letters 10 years prior to them arriving in the city forever and them sending letters to a PO box or something in a random town. WHAT NOW, UNIVERSE?!
yeah that's pretty much the biggest problem with that ending. moffat was stupid
Truly fantastic:
I don't really get why they couldn't have done this in the episode. This was fan-made and it looked fine. Imagine if they'd done it with the big special effects budget of the BBC. Unless they want to keep it ambiguous as to whether or not it actually was 9 he regenerated into, and there's not some other hitherto-unknown Doctor to be revealed in the 100th anniversary. :v:

I doubt the next several showrunners will try to take advantage of an "incomplete regeneration scene".
Post WIP pics. This sounds delicious.
pls no :( It looks pretty bad right now, I wish there was a pixel artist around who wanted to help. The end goal is to have a TARDIS item set (used in the ship) with the chairs, panels and platforms. Also the hexagonal wall pieces.
Outpost Skaro hinting we'll see Capaldi in his outfit soon now. Maybe today.
Well, someone has reported to the RT
The decision over the costume was ultimately made by a combination of Capaldi himself, executive producer Brian Minchin, showrunner Steven Moffat and senior members of the art team and had to be approved by senior BBC executives. Capaldi’s costume mixes old and new – is a “bit old fashioned to denote the fact that he is the oldest Doctor” but is also “looking to the future as well” says the well-placed sourced.
http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2013-12-09/peter-capaldis-doctor-who-costume-is-a-bit-old-fashioned-but-also-looks-to-the-future [editline]9th December 2013[/editline] Timeboy has also heard that some filming is taking place, unannounced.
A minisode, perhaps?
Would be nice given the long break, but might also just be a test scene of some kind. Wasn't Moffat opposed to Smith's costume until he saw it in action? Though it does say it's gone through him already.

I have the sneaking suspicion that Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka is, in fact, a Time Lord.

http://fuckyespetercapaldi.tumblr.com/post/69183529218/seann-walsh-on-peter-capaldi-being-the-new-doctor Seann Walsh delivers his take on the 12th Doctor. I need to see his costume! I can imagine an updated Hartnell approach.

If they're filming - I hope it's a concept trailer for the end of the Christmas Special. We can't have actual footage, so it's just that extra reassurance before the break. The S5 trailer after 10's regeneration worked wonders.
I remember straight after the s5 trailer my friend rang me and told me he hated Matt Smith already because he used a gun in the trailer :v:

Now the Doctor uses guns to TAG. Even though it takes forever and is a preposterously stupid thing to do, and that soldier probably needed his gun and could have done something more productive with it.•

I have the sneaking suspicion that Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka is, in fact, a Time Lord.
you lose! good day daleks!
At least we have a response for that now
The Dalek servant guy in the video preview looks like Dark Helmet from Spaceballs
Mister Sandman made 9 and 11 in Starbound. And I made 10 after Perl did. I love this game. So much roleplay possibility.
Thanks for doing that actually, I was going to but it's much easier just to take those.. :v:
Make sure you change 11's hair color if you do that though.

Why? Is it the law that you may only cosplay the current Doctor? Which reminds me, my parents went to a firework display in York last month, which according to the adverts was hosted by "The Tenth Doctor". Turned out to be some fat guy in a trench coat with a geordie accent. As you do.
Why? Is it the law that you may only cosplay the current Doctor?
This, people still dress up as David Tennant all the time. :v:
