can we all just agree that it'll never happen
Is it just me or is Donna Noble the worst companion ever? She's such an ungrateful stuck up bitch
Is it just me or is Donna Noble the worst companion ever? She's such an ungrateful stuck up bitch
Her sass has its charm. Plus it's extremely fun to get back to companions with character that aren't swooning over the Doctor on some level or another.
Besides, her sass tones down as the series goes on.

I liked her a lot more than the black chick, I dont want to sound racist but I disliked her to the point that I genuinely don't remember her name.
Martha is my favourite companion personally and I think Series 3 is my favourite aswell.

Everyone else I know loved Donna.
I thought she was annoying.
I'd have preferred her grandfather be the companion :v: (He was cool)

Oh, it was. My mistake.

then you missed the entirety of her character arc. going from a "super"temp from chiswick that can't hold down a job to someone she could be proud of herself for.
I tried. It's not perfect. It's some of the choral mix which is missing from the soundtracks.

Hey Grizz, for some reason the dicks deleted your video (even though there are hundreds more out there with way more content that should be blocked). Any chance you could chuck an MP3 up somewhere and shoot me a link to it? 256kbps or higher if possible... I was JUST hopping on to download and convert the video when they blocked it.
Bastards.
"I know the first script is moments away from reaching my hand so I'm looking forward to that, but I haven't read anything for the next series yet, so it doesn't feel like I'm two-timing Matt for now," she told the magazine.
"It's such a double-act and a partnership. With Peter, we're a team and we've been out for lunch together, getting to know each other. It'll be great."
Grizz has just had a mini birthday too (2500 posts)
Roughly two weeks left of Matt being the current Doctor. I don't know what to feel.
No pressure, Dan. Make it count!
"There's the fiction of it and the changeover of Doctors, which is moving at a fictional level, but I'm losing a really good friend. It's a very real and human thing. I'm sitting here knowing that this is the very last time that I'll ever be on a Doctor Who panel with Matt - and we have done so many.
"We've had so many adventures… from the terrifying beginning when Matt had to go outside and say, 'Does anybody want me to sign anything?' and nobody knew who he was. In that first year, I had 'Not Russell' carved in my forehead and Matt had 'Not David' carved in his and everyone just thought we were idiots.
"We just plodded around trying to make Doctor Who and people were saying, 'You're so not making Doctor Who!' - up to the moment where it hit and it became a huge thing. It is Matt's Doctor that has taken Doctor Who to the rest of the world - that is this man's achievement. Let's be clear about that.
"There are occasionally - among sillier Doctor Who fans - attempts to say that [the show] is doing less well than it used to. Doctor Who has never ever come as close to doing as well as it is right now. So much of that is down to Matt. So much of it is the international appeal of this man - he is the Doctor.
"Honestly, you can ask as many people as you like, dig as deep as you like - you will never ever find a negative story about Matt Smith. You simply will not. Everybody adores him.
"He makes the crew work faster. Marcus Wilson [the producer] would always get him to the set quicker than he needed to, just 'cos Matt's presence gets everybody energised. He is tireless - not just in his performances, but with the extra demands of being a leading man, of being the company leader. He is so good at that and yet he works so hard at his own performance.
"I will miss my friend [and] I will miss the most tireless and inventive actor I have ever worked with."
Matt Smith:
"I've been lucky," he explained. "Steven's my greatest friend in this industry as a result of having had four years with him and not only that... the brilliant mind that is The Moff... the imagination... think of the monsters he's brought us, the characters... just the constant invention that is wild and unabashed and breaking new ground the whole time.
"I'm really sad, because you leave your best friends to go and do something else with people who aren't your best friends, which is annoying! You're like, 'You're not Jenna and Steven, ya weirdos!'
"But thanks Moff and Jenna and everyone who's worked with me... and thanks to all [the fans] - it's been the best time. Thank you for having me."
I think it's a real shame that Big Finish don't get to use past BBC Wales doctors once they step down. It's the BBC's way of keeping classic and new Who separate, but they don't do anything with past Doctors. It's not like during Matt's tenure they continued doing audio dramas featuring David Tennant. I bet the guys over at big finish come up with loads of great scripts for 9, 10 and 11 but are stuck using 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Though I wonder if Hurt may be up for doing some "Time War Stories" audio dramas?
Peter Jackson has confirmed he’s officially been in talks to direct an episode of Doctor Who. Can we have a Geronimo!?
In fact, the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit director has revealed that discussions for him to step behind the camera for a Who episode are "actually kind of serious."
It’s been around for a while now that Peter Jackson—a die-hard fan of the beloved sci-fi series—has expressed his love of Who and desire to helm an episode back in his native New Zealand (which would be really, really cool).
The famous director even made a recent cameo appearance in “The Five(ish)Doctors” just last month for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who.
Jackson said:
“I would be very happy to [direct an episode]. I’d love to try my hand at television, because I’ve never had the discipline of having to shoot for those impossibly tiny schedules. I think I could do it okay now.”
He even added, cheekily:
"I did suggest that they did a New Zealand story - something to do with the [rugby union] All Blacks versus the Daleks. There's a good story in there, although obviously the All Blacks would have to win!"
Last year, former Doctor Who executive producer Caroline Skinner said that she’d "love to bring Doctor Who down under" after the show's big-50 bash. Since the 50th-anniversary special, "The Day of the Doctor," is already behind us, with Peter Capaldi now at the helm of the TARDIS, perhaps the time has finally come?
