No. [sp]It's not The Doctor[/sp]
[sp]Oh, is that the clothing that Clara wears that is invisible to the Doctor (or something like that) that was mentioned in the leaks?[/sp]

Steven Moffat has said that Matt Smith’s regeneration will not be a repeat of David Tennant’s tonally.
Moffat told SFX magazine: “The Doctor doesn’t die. He really doesn’t. He just gets a new body. He escapes death, he evades death, so that’s a triumphant ending rather than a sad ending.” He adds: “I was trying to think about it from the point of view of what it would be like if someone told you, “When you wake up tomorrow morning, you’ll still be alive, but you won’t be the same. You will like different things, you will sound different, you will look different, and have a different temperament.” That would be utterly terrifying. “That would feel not like death, but something quite mortifying – you would be horrified by the idea of just being rewritten like that. I think that’s what contemplating regeneration must be like for the Doctor. So there’s an element of that, but because it was played that way the last time we wouldn’t play it the same way this time – that would just be wrong.” Moffat says that the special will contain plenty of humour, especially early on: “There’s a lot of humour in this one, because Matt’s Doctor has been a funny Doctor, and if you’re going to make people miss him then just remind them how funny he is. Certainly the first 20 minutes or so are very funny. “There’s a scene at the beginning where we kept joking, “We should have a live studio audience for this bit”, because it was very much Doctor sitcom. I thought if you were going to say, “Here’s your last go at the Eleventh Doctor” he should be as he was, and what you will miss is not him crying – I think the danger is if you cry the audience don’t. It’s about “This is the last hurrah. These days will not come again.”
Somebody on GB joked that Capaldi will come in "like a wrecking ball" Then somebody posted this: Thought this would be a nice thing to see on a friday night.
Steven Moffat has said that Matt Smith’s regeneration will not be a repeat of David Tennant’s tonally.
" I thought if you were going to say, “Here’s your last go at the Eleventh Doctor” he should be as he was, and what you will miss is not him crying – I think the danger is if you cry the audience don’t" I'm not sure about that. I've loved when Matt's been sad/emotional. Like the end of TPO and Clara telling him about Trenzalore in TNotD
nahhh i think him shouting geronimo as he regenerated would be so much sadder than "I dont want to go :("
Oh yeah definitely, I just meant the "and what you will miss is not him crying". I'll probably miss his more serious/emotional bits more than the funny bits. I always imagined his regeneration would be him being excited/curious about his new body. Maybe a bit emotional, but in happy-and-looking-forward-to-the-future kind of way, rather than Tennant's sad-and-clinging-onto-the-past one. I'm imagining he'd be even more excited/curious if he assumed he wasn't going to regenerate.
The Daily Mail says that the Universe is going to collapse today - so we won't see Peter Capaldi, sorry.
No. [sp]It's not The Doctor[/sp]
[sp]Hope revived for some Clara nudity? Unless Jack Harkness comes right out of nowhere.[/sp]
I would love to see The Doctor's reaction to Clara naked. Seriously, he would squirm so much :v:
How about something Christmas related that's more light-hearted? The "reactions" from all the Doctors/Companions just kill me every time.

http://youtu.be/aqYiXZ7AefY?t=42s Does that orb the Doctor is holding have any other significance? Can we just say it's the same one as from the 50th and that John Hurt takes it into his TARDIS, then the reason it goes all golden is because it isn't in use anymore? Please? :v:

I love how they've tried to keep the filesize down by making the entire left side static, so his shoulder keeps vanishing as he moves to the left while the entire background slides slowly upwards thanks to the camera movement. I tried to put a gif on Tumblr once and it was awful.
[sp]Hope revived for some Clara nudity? Seriously, he would squirm so much :v:
clara's panic could be great too, unless she decides that she wants to fuck the doctor too
Eh, I'd totally be okay with the Doctor and Clara getting together, but with Capaldi it'd be a bit.. odd during the transition.

The easiest way to make these translations is perhaps Translation Party I was playing with it last night. Posting huge quotes in. Eleven had some ace speeches.

Beautiful rewrite. [editline]14th December 2013[/editline]
Steven Moffat has explained more about the long-standing mysteries that will be wrapped up at Christmas in The Time of the Doctor. Moffat told SFX magazine: “It will be tying up various elements of the Eleventh Doctor’s story, some of which people have asked about before, some of which people haven’t bothered to ask about!” He adds: “From [Matt Smith's] first to his last episode, there will be elements. And it should be obvious they were fairly carefully planned. “It’s not obstructive – if you didn’t remember any of that stuff or care about that stuff it would still be fine. If you’ve been sitting there saying, “Who blew up the TARDIS?” then you’ll get it.”
http://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/moffat-on-wrapping-up-mysteries-56819.htm
GG, Moffat.
