i'm going to stop you right there and remind you about S3 ending.
The person behind this masterpiece is working on the Matt version!
9's reaction to the continuous 'All By Myself' towards the end is golden
9's reaction to the continuous 'All By Myself' towards the end is golden
That bit always cracks me up
Prediction for Eleventh Doctor the musical: When we get to Day of the Doctor, we'll start hearing more "ALL BY MYSELF".
I completely forgot Rose was at the end of Episode one of Season 4
Watched The End of Time Part 1 & 2 for the first time, bawled my eyes out at the end
Watched The End of Time Part 1 & 2 for the first time, bawled my eyes out at the end
Yeah, him still not being ginger and all, real heart breaker.
I've just reached EP3 of Torchwood and Season 6 of Dr. Who. Any chance of meeting Jack Harkness again? Seems a shame to leave such an important character created from the time vortex.
If he doesn't return at some point, I'm gonna break some skulls.
If he doesn't return at some point, I'm gonna break some skulls.
I think that Day of the Doctor implied [sp]that that Jack is "Fixed-point dead" like the Brigadier[/sp]
If he doesn't return at some point, I'm gonna break some skulls.
For once I would like Moffat to write Jack into a story as his flirty character with a vortex manipulator and a gun. Instead of River.
The most telling thing about River is that all you have to do is list off everything she's done and she's a textbook fancharacter mary sue.
I've been watching Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead again. Dear god, I forgot how scary they were. The music when Miss Evangeline appears in the virtual world is incredibly unnerving.
Best guess is that it's the Doctor from the Big Bang. If you look at the arm you can tell the shadow has a jacket on, but in the episode the Doctor's still in 10's clothing. It's like the scene in Flesh and Stone with the Big Bang Doctor talking to Amy, he has the jacket on while the normal Doctor wasn't currently wearing it.
I never even noticed that figure run past until you guys just posted about it... Amazing what you miss so easily. Kind of spooky now watching that bit again and seeing it.w
I wonder if the thing that "hasn't even been asked about" is in The Eleventh Hour. I remember ages ago Moffat apparently saying that there was a thing in the Eleventh Hour that everybody's missed (I just remember a GB thread title). After the Big Bang aired, people assumed it was the Doctor's shadow. But then after ATM aired, he could've meant Amy's "dream" of the Doctor coming back. But THEN it could be something completely different. Just like how the question wasn't asked, and silence didn't fall in TNotD when everybody assumed it did.
I love Moffat but I do wonder if he's just making it up as he goes. Like he watches Eleventh Hour and says "ah yes, I'll bring that up again" while pretending it was the plan all along.
obviously it was the master
Peter Capaldi has just completed his first read through as the Doctor! A new era of #DoctorWho is coming
Official Twitter. Which means filming must start within the next week or so. Which means costume to be seen very soon.
filming starts in january (which has been confirmed many times), this is the last week of work for the doctor who team this year (other than maybe small bits and bobs, but mostly probably stuff that can be done at home) next week is christmas, dan

Also Tom Baker needs to be explained yet
I bet Tom Baker is just Moffat's clever way of insuring the Doctor can't be killed off without a massive retcon.
Tomorrow is dress like your favorite Christmas character day at my school, do you think the Doctor counts as a Christmas character?
Go as one of the snowmen :v:
After the Big Bang aired, people assumed it was the Doctor's shadow. But then after ATM aired, he could've meant Amy's "dream" of the Doctor coming back. Just like how the question wasn't asked, and silence didn't fall in TNotD when everybody assumed it did.
I haven't re-watched anything yet since it first aired, but what is the connection with the Big Bang and that shadow in the Eleventh Hour possibly being the Doctor? Zipping around with the vortex manipulator? Or after the pandorica goes into the buring tardis and explodes? [editline]now[/editline] Ahh, ok just skipped through it a bit and I see what you mean - near the end after the pandorica + tardis explode, when he goes back to young Amy. The timing fits perfectly I suppose.
Also Tom Baker needs to be explained yet
It's very obvious from the dialogue he's supposed to be a future Doctor. Likely the final Doctor. A retired Doctor anyway.
Been rewatching the End of Time, and there's two people that say 'nay' to do the whole Gallifrey move thing, who are sentenced to do the weeping angle pose thing. One of them is presumed to be the Doctor's mother, is the other one his father or someone else? I wonder... EDIT: Also it reminds me of how much I liked the End of Time. A fitting end for ten, in my opinion. Reminds me that even if The Time of the Doctor is somehow bad, or disappointing or Matt's last words are bad - it shouldn't matter too much to me, it only has to be good to the people who's Doctor is Matt. So long as they're happy it'll be a success in my mind. That said I think it's probably going to be great for everyone. :v:
I just want some Timelords running around again for S8 since they add a distinct flavour to the show
I just want some Timelords running around again for S8 since they add a distinct flavour to the show
Spoiler for series 8: [sp]there's an episode featuring "half time-lords" or something like that. Also The Master is running about.[/sp]
