I get the impression he has a big heart. But you just know that like 95% of internet video critics it hasn't got legs and one day he'll be forced to do a miserable 9-5 job where the odd guy comes in and says "Hey didn't you make videos a few years ago?" and he sort of winces and says "yeah I still do...".
I doubt it, maybe on a site different than YouTube but yeah, youtube career people like him will be fine. Media on the internet is the future, hell - you've seen those BBC iPlayer figures for Doctor Who starting to rise even more now! :v:

Oh people will definitely remember the name YouTube, but will it be the main site (if a site at all) for video content? Probably not. I suspect at some point people like JonTron will move over to a new site - it just takes someone to break the mold of YouTube. I think one day we'll be watching Doctor Who live online (officially) instead of on Sky or Virgin.
-Debates and essays on the power of digital media (or lack of) is really way too off topic to even consider not snipping-

Oh by the way, I think I might have found Gallifrey: The paintings the Zygons hid in were stasis cubes, right? So why would this painting not be the snapshot of Gallifrey that was captured by the Doctors? It would certainly be an odd kind of self-fulfilling prophecy (given the painting's role in the episode).
thats not a painting of all of gallifrey though, just arcadia
Moreso I think it is called [sp]Gallifrey Falls No More[/sp] because it is the moment the time war ends really not what comes afterwards.
what episode is 9's head shake from i need it for reasons
what episode is 9's head shake from i need it for reasons
The End of the World
i give you "fantastic no more"
I assumed when it first aired that because that had Arcadia in the painting then it was Gallifrey in the painting itself. I don't want it to be that easily explained, i just don't really know where else gallifrey could be.
It's in a pocket universe. He said so. I'm not sure why Gallifrey went into a pocket universe when everything else went into the painting. I feel if I was to ask Moffat the answer it would be "just because".
I think 13 Doctors could come up with a more useful way to use Stasis Cubes than paintings.
Rewatching Stolen Earth. That episode, man.

Wait I thought Arcadia was on Gallifrey? In that prequel episode, the one that's a POV of a Time Lord soldier, the other soldiers says something like "You're on Arcadia, the safest place on Gallifrey." [editline]21st December 2013[/editline]
The Fall of Arcadia was a battle fought on the last day of the Last Great Time War. The city of Arcadia was thought to be "the safest place on Gallifrey", because it was protected by 400 sky trenches. Despite this, a massive Dalek force managed to penetrate the trenches and swarmed over the city, exterminating Time Lord soldiers and civilians alike.
The painting doesn't hold the whole of Gallifrey. It only holds the city of Arcadia at that moment in time.

From what I can gather a documentary was shown at the BFI revealing that Philip Morris actually found "thousands" episodes of previously "lost" TV. Implied to be around 10,000. A lot of this new "found" stuff has already been found/never lost. A lot is better quality than the stuff already in the BBC archive. Most of the stuff sold abroad by the BBC was Doctor Who, so the general word is that Doctor Who is now pretty much fully found. There'll be a handful of episodes missing by the end of it all. But it's taking ages to sort through all the film reels. Dick Fiddy (writer/researcher of Radio Times and BBC) reckons all lost TV has been found. [editline]21st December 2013[/editline] It's still going on now (it's a BFI event). It's nearly over. But somebody on Outpost Skaro points out that if you think that out of the 10,000 finds, only 9 are Doctor Who, you're pretty dim.

That all the team were on top form. I trust this is accurate.
