I got two 50th anniversary BBC books for Christmas, one that's a huge behind the scenes thing, and one that goes through all the Doctors, their companions, tech and villains.
WILSON! WIIILSOOOON!
/LOUD SCREAMING NOISES
Bleh, his Capaldi regeneration was disappointingly short and quick
"Do you happen to know how to fly this thing?"
[sp]"Kidney's! I forgot kidneys!"[/sp] The 12th Doctor, everyone.
I could hear nothing of what Capaldi said :/
well I missed most of it... bleh no regeneration split. [editline]25th December 2013[/editline]
I could hear nothing of what Capaldi said :/
all I heard was kittens
Well I loved it.
Did I black out or was it really that abrupt?
Bleh, his Capaldi regeneration was disappointingly short and quick
To be fair, he did get a large and explodey quick-fix.
The regeneration was far too quick.
I could hear nothing of what Capaldi said :/
He said: [sp]KIDNEYS! I'VE GOT NEW KIDNEYS! I don't like the colour.. Just one question... Have you got any idea how to fly this thing?[/sp]
snip, odd posting
he said [sp] "KIDNEYS, I'VE GOT KIDNEYS! i don't like the colour of them" "of your kidneys?" "yes!" /crash "what's happening?" "we're crashing i would imagine! don't worry! just one question!" "what?" "do you have any idea how to fly this thing?" [/sp]
that wasn't as good as I thought it'd be
The regeneration was far too quick.
The original rumour said that after he explodes on the clock tower Clara enters the TARDIS and finds Capaldi. So be greatful for that. I liked the abruptness. He was mid sentence. I went from cryingface to happyface.
He said: [sp]KIDNEYS! I'VE GOT KIDNEYS! Just one question... Have you got any idea how to fly this thing?[/sp]
I thought he said he forgot them, not that he got them. :v:
Where was Rory, or River Song at the end. If you're gonna have Amy, then why not at least Rory. But it was good, not amazing
The solution to the regeneration limit felt like it came out of no where, which also just happened to fix all the other problems. It was an alright episode, but everything felt a bit rushed.
I was happy to hear some of The Long Song during the regeneration. I think i enjoyed this special more than the 50th one, I need some time to think over it though.
I don't think there's ever been a big important episode that you guys haven't said felt rushed.
So does that mean Gallifery will never return because they used the crack to help The Doctor?
i'm trying not to think about the flaws because i want to be happy.
Uhm, did it air ? I need a link if someone has 1
So yeah missed most of the plot anywhere I could see it again?
doesn't age in 400 years since 10, gets wrinkles after another 300, wat.
I thought the pacing was fine - best Christmas episode and loads better than The End of Time *This is not Dan
[sp]He didn't remind the Doctor of the telephone ;-;[/sp] Also time to be a bit more critical. IMO, the entire 2 series long arcs of 'Doctor Who' and 'Silence will fall' was just blown out the window to be honest, I was expecting something with more intensity. Also Tasha was pretty much just Fuck me Doctor, I hate you, I love you and in the end you wonder why on Earth the whole thing happened? To me Moffat has done an inadequate job in the long run.
[sp]handles mentioned the telephone as his very last line, pay attention[/sp]
