Now someone has to post a proper fucking link because this bullshit site is so slow
Weeping Angels played the role of Kitchen Sink.
How to watch the episode (At least how I did it): 1) Download Media Hint. 2) Go to BBC iPlayer and enjoy.
a) be british b) watch it 19:30 25th december 2013 c) make sarcastic snarky posts at foreigners
Weeping Angels played the role of Kitchen Sink.
i completely forgot they were even mentioned.
So is gallifrey back now? Because all of the cracks closed and they were just waiting for the doctors name But then they closed the crack after clara's speech
Weeping Angels played the role of Kitchen Sink.
What was the actual point of them? Does Moffat just like using them everywhere? One grabbed Clara's leg and she just wriggled out of it. Do they not send you back in time now or something?
"Dr who viewing ratings are definitely going down now with that ugly old geezer as the doctor #givemeeyecandy" "Ugly Doctor. :(" "Why have they picked such an ugly new doctor??" "na I can't be dealing with this ugly old man as the doctor✋" "what a disappointing doctor he's old and ugly" "How disappointed would Clara be that the doctor turned old and ugly." "wtf the new doctor is old??" "i don't like the new Doctor.. he's too old" "i can't believe the doctor is regenerating into an old dry potato"
some people are so fucking rude
Update on a thread fav..
I'm so glad it wasn't another 'love saves the day' episode
So is gallifrey back now? Hopefully when Gallifrey does return, the arc isn't as messy as the one from the last few Series.
I'm so glad it wasn't another 'love saves the day' episode
I could be wrong, but Clara told the Time Lords that they should love The Doctor? :v:
What happened to the truth field and the stalemate? How could he lie to Clara and the Cyberman? I thought the stalemate was "They won't attack this village because if they do, I'll unleash the time lords". But they pretty much destroy the village and kill a load of people anyway.
I don't think they're coming back until its safe, ensuring the Doctor survived means that one day it will be hopefully from their point of view.
I've started to wonder if Gallifrey is to return, if The Master will as well. Chance is he will. But I've got a feeling he won't be vengeful of The Doctor. He won't hate him anymore. Think of it this way: in The End of Time, he pretty much saves The Doctor, and brings Gallifrey back into the Time War. From that alone it feels like he's forgiven The Doctor. And adding onto that, he came at Rassilon with the fury of a thousand suns - it wouldn't be out of the question that The Master would've managed to kill him. Given what Rassilon was about to do, and seeing how so many were against it, it's not impossible to assume the council would grant him higher status, and give him a new regeneration cycle as well. Now imagine that. Gallifrey finally comes back - now with a new Doctor and a new Master, both with their batteries fully recharged, and this time as allies! I think that would be amazing!
I could be wrong, but Clara told the Time Lords that they should love The Doctor? :v:
fuck sake
I could be wrong, but Clara told the Time Lords that they should love The Doctor? :v:
no no no see Love didn't save the day clara did again
"timelords, you love the doctor, please help him" "the fuck are we gonna do, we're frozen in a single moment you stupid needy cunt"
I maintain my stance.... Kovarian would have been better than "random character The Doctor knows but we don't."
I maintain my stance.... Kovarian would have been better than "random character The Doctor knows but we don't."
She wouldn't have really fit though. Unless we got an earlier version of her perhaps?
What happened to the truth field and the stalemate? How could he lie to Clara and the Cyberman? One group wanted to kill the Doctor to stop the question being asked...the other wanted to stop the question being asked by stopping the Doctor dying? I'm not sure if i missed something but that's what it seemed like was going on.
my iPlayer stream froze the second Peter Capaldi face showed up on screen, just satring, in that look he gave.
Missed it the first time round, just finished watching it on iPlayer, I was pretty much crying on and off from the moment I saw the Doctor with white hair :'c All in all I really liked the episode, there were a few things that didn't quite work for me but overall I think it was a great flipping episode. [editline]25th December 2013[/editline] Also
I wonder if Capaldi's eventual regeneration will be really small and docile like Hartnell's.
That was a pretty fantastic episode if you ask me!
can someone explain something to me how I understand it: [sp]The Doctor won't say his name or his enemies will destroy the planet, and his enemies won't kill him because he will say his name as he is dying. What exactly is stopping this planet getting nuked after the Daleks take over the church?[/sp] The plot of this episode was pretty shit
She wouldn't have really fit though. Unless we got an earlier version of her perhaps?
An earlier version, exactly. We could have seen how the 'war' caused her to turn on The Doctor and then tried to blow up his TARDIS. Instead of hearing about it. She's just a bit of a blip now, really. Was I supposed to give anything close to a damn about Tasha Lem? Kovarian would have fit more than the Weeping Angels did. Inventing a character with 'history' for the final episode. Blah. Should have been lazy.
why do the daleks remember the doctor anyway
