omg grizz ur a girly??
I thought the special was alright it could have definitely been way better than it was, and IMO it was really just riding off the fact that "oh no Matt Smith is leaving wow I'm crying" also Moffat do not write time jumps ever again please thank you
I'm only ten minutes in. And I can't stop looking at Matt's wig. [editline].[/editline] [sp]Er, okay then. Nevermind![/sp] [editline].[/editline] [sp]ALL THE STRANGE CREATURES![/sp] [editline].[/editline] [sp]Four knocks. No new music? ;-;[/sp] [editline].[/editline] [sp]OH SHIT.[/sp] [editline].[/editline] [sp]You guys were right about the long song being the regeneration theme.[/sp]
[sp]The Doctor's wig*[/sp] :v:
Also I just noticed that fancy banner I made completely cuts out Tom's face, so first one it is
I'm only ten minutes in. And I can't stop looking at Matt's wig.
hehHEHEHE [editline]26th December 2013[/editline] Also just realized since the [sp]clothes on Clara and the Doctor were projected, they were totally rubbin all over eachother in that snow[/sp] oh christ almighty I can't stop giggling, I'm like a 12-year old all over again
Disappointed by lack of Jenna hologram nudity- Nevermind Jesus. Never type "Jenna Coleman nude" into Tumblr. What are people doing with there time... [editline]26th December 2013[/editline]
I'm only ten minutes in.
Jesus. Never type "Jenna Coleman nude" into Tumblr.
Dan's Late Night Christmas Party.
I loved that episode and as far as I'm concerned it tied up the entire plot very neatly I mean I can nitpick still but the things I would nitpick about are largely irrelevant, the whole convoluted arc now all makes sense to me and wow, that farewell was fantastic and im grinning and it was great oh my god it was good
Capladiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Also its a nice point of comparison between David and Matt's last episodes which were both centred around the same race, which is pretty nice
I don't think Matt was reading from a script at the end. But I agree that the actual regeneration was... sudden? I guess? But it was fine. ... so... when is Series 8 going to start? [editline]25th December 2013[/editline] Dan, start the rumor mill! We have lots of time to waste!
I think it was better in a way for a start they didn't have to deal with shoddy effects, just plain out bam also in a way its like a clean break, one minute he's gone and the next minute he's someone else, bam, lets keep going, its nice in a way
Wow way to cockblock my tears at the [sp]SPONTANEOUS REGENERATION[/sp]. ;-;7
I'd have been fine with that scene of River kissing the Doctor (losing her regenerations) to solve the Doctor's regeneration limit. There should be a way to sacrifice your own limit to give to another.
I'm just running through the regeneration scenes now out of all the new doctors though i think i prefer smiths's introductory scene to capaldi's, his is too short, not enough quirky lines [editline]26th December 2013[/editline]
I'd have been fine with that scene of River kissing the Doctor (losing her regenerations) to solve the Doctor's regeneration limit. I can already tell peter will be the doctor that will have quite a number of scary moments just from how he was introduced.
Wait did Moffat hint at amnesia with that last line? God I hope not...
Wait did Moffat hint at amnesia with that last line? God I hope not...
It would be all the more dramatic with the "remembering" speech Matt (mostly as Matt) did right before the regeneration.
So what was 11's actual cause of death? Old age?
I doubted the legitimacy of this at first, but then http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1e6_bFy8H8 Nope, quite real welp I guess that's it
Y'know, it kinda sucks feeling sadness, happiness, and now arousal, all at the same time.
So what was 11's actual cause of death? Old age?
I think the regeneration cycle beginning anew essentially meant that his first regen was forced upon him simply to kickstart it
Question: What happened in Name of The Doctor, now? [sp]You could have said that without Day.. The Doctor would have died on Trenzalore. But if it wasn't for Day, the Trenzalore war wouldn't have happened. So how could his tomb have ever been there?[/sp]
Actually [sp]Name of the doctor still happened - the war was still there but chronologically speaking the name of the doctor occurred before he changed his own timeline so that the timelords were saved, and its only because they were saved that he didn't die. So his tomb was there because at that point in his timeline he died at trenzalore. I think the fact that that skirmish still happened is a bit odd, but maybe different circumstances forced it to happen. Maybe the papal mainframe under circumstances where he didn't die tried to force it[/sp] wibbly wobbly
So what was 11's actual cause of death? Old age?
He just willingly started the regeneration process so he could expel the energy to blow up the Daleks. The change was just something that went along with that.
Friend hasn't stopped quoting the Thick of It since Capaldi was announced. It gets more annoying by the day and looks like it'll only increase in frequency after the Christmas special and the fact he got the whole boxset. Oh fucking lord If I can go one day without hearing the word "Omnishambles" I'll give gold to Freeze
In The God Complex, his exact quote is "Of course, who else?". So are cracks a "who" now?
It was [sp]Handles[/sp]
Also, loved the "Seal of Rassilon, grabbed it from the Master at the Death Zone." from The Five Doctors throwback.
In The God Complex, his exact quote is "Of course, who else?". So are cracks a "who" now?
is it really out of character for the doctor to refer to an inanimate object as a person
Or maybe it was the people the crack symbolises. [sp]the timelords[/sp]
