Did we ever find out Mel's last name when she was just Mel and not River Song properly yet? Tasha Lem backwards is Mel Ahsat. I doubt it's more than me just looking for signs of who she is though, she probably isn't River (which is what some people seem to swear by).

Vale Decem wouldn't have fitted with Matt Smith' regeneration - it was a sad, but dignified regeneration where the Doctor has accepted that it is time for him to go. Vale Decem was fitting for Tennant because it was more of a 'THIS IS SO SAD I DONT WANNA GO' track.

vale decem fitted 10's regeneration and infinite possibilities fitted 11's
but vale decem fitted 10's AND was also a good track in general, memorable
infinite possibilities fitted, but wasn't memorable or a really good track in my opinion - still fitted though

Honestly I absolutely loved that final episode, and loved the regeneration speech which IMO shat all over Tennant's regeneration. I actually jumped out my seat when the insta-regeneration happened, that face Capaldi made seemed to be staring into my soul. Also RIP Handles, you were to good for this world.Only complaint is that the narration seemed to kind of out of place with the rest of the episode.
Also why do priests need to shoot electricity out of their hands?

2:21 is one of the most emotional pieces of music Gold has every created. It didn't need Tennant saying "I don't want to go" over the top of it.
Actually tired of Gold now. Really want something different sounding. I want stuff that oozes suspense, tension and electronic. Something entirely different. I'm finally bored of bombastic tunes, especially as he's reusing the same ones a lot of the time anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if Moffat decided to stop being showrunner after a couple more series. Either that or he's not gonna leave until the BBC forces him to, or he decides to step down in like 2020 or something.
