Think I just watched the most dull episode of Doctor Who earlier, The Power Of Krull. The aliens themselves were extremely uninspired too. Hopefully The Armageddon Factor should be good.

So that video... claimed by BBC Worldwide, reminded that my account can be closed with all video deleted and forced to watch a video called "Copyright School" - then answer questions to prove that I've watched it. Fuck YouTube. This is the first copyright sanction that I have ever had. I do wonder why my entire channel hasn't been taken down.

Must put you off uploading future videos though, knowing that they could come down on you like a ton of bricks.

That was the first since July for that reason.

Make sure you credit BBC etc in the description, if it's Doctor Who. I've uploaded lots of videos with copyrighted footage, but credited them and not monetised. I've been perfectly fine with my channel.

Unfortunately a highlighted point in copyright school was that description crediting doesn't make a difference. This is the first video which has been forcibly removed in this way - in five years. Most are claimed, but ignored. Or claimed and blocked in several countries - primarily for audio. But the one which has been dubbed over is piled on :v:

Well that's The Armageddon Factor watched now, pretty fine series overall. Some of the stuff in it seems pretty meh to reviewers but it feels a lot better than the worst of the Moffat era still. Welcome breath of fresh air. Now onto the revival.
