Day of The Doctor became a former Doctors reunion really damn fast. :v:
Yes. I'm in.

I especially like the sunglasses which don't have arms and just hang off his eyes like monocles.
his intense stare pins them in place on his face like a monocle

capaldi is the one
I find it weird that throughout series 5, he gets referred to as "The Doctor in the TARDIS" and how he "doesn't know".
Then in TPO he says "No, not me, the TARDIS and I'm not in the TARDIS, am I?"
Did this link to anything?
I just realised this possibly linked to something in the end.
The Doctor "loses" the TARDIS for centuries, and is the one who knows about the Time Lords.

Been watching Series 5 all the way through, and I'm wondering if the first part of the video (not the opening theme) is on the Series 5 OST, if so, what track is it?
That old thing, I love that!

I believe it's a part of this.

probably a modified a bit.
God 10 was a long time ago.
Hearing that in The Time of the Doctor was fantastic.
On the subject of music does anyone know the music that was playing when they shown Galifrey for the first time in the Day Of The Doctor?
First bit of Time War?

Thank you Rapist. Thank you.

you were part of the [sp]dalek's[/sp] master plan so yes, you must be honored as well
i already knew it was ATSSC though
I keep feeling that Trenzalore was a trap created by the timelords, because they knew the Doctor was on his last life.. so the only way to create a proper link with the real universe was to give him the extra life (kind of like putting the drum beat in the master's head).
No idea haha, although I think they caused the tardis explosion too so one day they'll break through the crack once it's weak enough?

Was the mysterious truth field ever explained?
Was the mysterious truth field ever explained?
time lords were feeding it through the crack so the Doctor couldn't lie about his name

Or whether or not it was safe to come through - but we'll let that slide.
Eventually.
But still superb

If this had the paintings from the 50th added in (with shake cam) it would look great.
It had to be rightfully abused. There's more of these out there, but I got to add other music to mask the fakeness :v:

Why did this get removed :'(~~~
It was the fuckity best thing ever
This is such a bizare regeneration.
People in Youtube comments, on forums and on blogs are all saying how much they hated the incomming Doctor during their first scene but grew to LOVE them. But with Capaldi everybody is saying it's an instant liking. He immediately became The Doctor. I wonder how this will evolve once he actually starts?
Will the adoration grow until he becomes the most successful and renowned Doctor in the show's history?
Or will the anticipation and the hype cause overwhelming disappointment once people see him for more than 20 seconds and he becomes his own man?
I said that this was the most exciting year to be a Doctor Who fan towards the start of the year. But next year is even more exciting. Could the Fourth Doctor of the new series be as popular as the Fourth Doctor of the classic series? Could there soon be a time Tennant isn't the most adored Doctor of the general public? Usually a new Doctor coming in evokes feelings of "make or break" for the show, but this time I feel it's "make or very make".
I'm confused as to how he will portray the doctor, Capaldi has a face that just looks like an evil, dark person. Yet he intro to us was random and excitable "KIDNEYS!"
I hope he's dark, but still a bit baffling.

Sort of an upbeat scrooge

Don't take a Doctor at their post-regenerative values. He doesn't know what type of man he is yet.
I love the stumble he does whilst running round the console. Pure 11.

True, I'm excited for what he going to bring to it though. Also I was thinking the other day that if Capaldi hadn't been picked, James Nesbitt could've been a great Doctor.
Ooh when Gallifrey comes back couldn't a freshly regenerated Romana end up being a companion again? That would be an interesting dynamic. A returning companion who's completely new at the same time.
I just really love Romana <3
no because moffat would ruin her character to nothing more than an airheaded love interest with no self supporting features because the doctor has to fix everything.

But I thought all of Moffat's female characters were independent and feisty, able to save the day without The Doctor's help because 'they don't need him.'
I get so confused by all the conflicting statements on how Moffat writes characters.
I can't wait for a new lead writer.
